I mean seriously, that's gotta mean the whole organization is like the time a bunch of local cops tried to bust an extremist militia with an undecvoer agent only to find said militia was mostly the fbi trying to bring down a cia setup that was supposed to be a honeypot for actual extremists.
What the fuck is this shit?

    You're obviously not a cop.

Officer on Capitol riot: 'Is this America? They beat police officers with Blue Lives Matter flags'

"I got called a [N-word] a couple dozen times ... protecting this building," Officer Harry Dunn told ABC News. "Is this America? They beat police officers with Blue Lives Matter flags. They fought us, they had Confederate flags in the U.S. Capitol."

But then maybe you supported this "insurrection."

lol, I can't believe the Supreme Court, stacked with 3 trump picks still have to go through some of this hilarity...

    Mike Kelly apparently is 'astounded'

Kelly is likely more shocked that the Trump appointees didn't toe the line.

Did you see the report that the FBI has a huge amount of communications from that day - information seized through "means that do not involve warrants". These pieces coming together and out are going to be fodder for the Commission being formed in the House. I was hoping the Senate would take it on, vis a vis Warren chairing it, but there are plenty of good people on both sides that can handle it.

Commission would likely be chaired by someone not in office now, they've said they want it to be 9/11 style, so it'll be a former politician and an equal number of folks from both parties.

But I think you're talking about the cell phone data that they have, which is basically every ingoing/outgoing call, GPS data, and some other tidbits from everyone with an active cell phone that connected to the Capitol building network.

I forgot they did that with the 9/11 Commission - good point. Well, there are only about 1,000 people who could do well at that helm.

I am - thanks for that clarification. Seizing that data is going to provide a lot of information to any and all GOP insiders who helped set up the insurrection.

Actually, the best choice, in that category of irony, with those qualifications, would be Hillary.

Party of Trump Senator Johnson is still claiming that the riot was led by false flag Antifa commie socialist you know what, he's got no proof, he's basically just making shit up.

Maybe he decided that having to lick Trump's ass for the next 2 years wasn't quite as appetizing as he once thought.

Let's hope that Party gets some traction. Splintering the GOP would be fantastic.

Especially if it causes the Dems to split as well. 3-4 viable parties would do the country good.

I find it fascinating to see the turtle failing so miserably to make his party fall in line. It's almost like everyone sane was telling him that courting with dotardito was not a good idea in the long term...

Not exactly. The GOP should go the way of the dodo, with all of their political ideals. are you a conservative? well the dems have a nice place for you. Are you a progressive? Neat! form a progressive party!

There, you have 2 parties with sensible policies and disagreements, that can work together.

It would be excellent if there were many viable parties. But that's not going to happen, unless something monumentally stupid happens, like with the Trump administration. And even then, it's going to be temporary, before it's a 2-party system again.
