Nothing like shaming your supporters into giving you money. I guess it's a step up from asking them to skip meals to give him money like McSally.

Are we bragging about participation trophies, still? I mean, I thought from the way conservatives spent years downplaying the Nobel Prize because Obama won it that y'all wouldn't give a shit if Trump was simply nominated for it.

“Trump's biggest fear is that if his tax return is released, that there's a whole slew of organizations, of accountants and forensic accountants, that will rip through it and he will end up with a massive tax bill, fraud penalties, fines and possibly even tax fraud,” Cohen told The Daily Mail.
For once, I actually believe Michael Cohen. If anyone knows about Trump's shady as fuck taxes, his personal fixer probably does.

Fun fact, Trump has put zero dollars of his own money into his 2020 campaign. But he has taken several million out of it. (This was from February, I am sure it is a lot larger now).

Amusing how desperately the billionaire needs your money, but won't use his.

Um, isn't it illegal to use campaign money for things other than campaigning?

Uh, is that really a relevant question any more? Like does anyone care about things like "What is legal?" now?

President Trump has scored a hat trick of nominations for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize, this time for the president’s foreign policy philosophy, dubbed the “Trump Doctrine,” according to a report.

“What he has done with the Trump Doctrine is that he has decided he would no longer have America involved in endless wars, wars which achieve nothing but the killing of thousands of young Americans and enormous debts imposed on America,” Australian law professor David Flint told Sky News Australia on Sunday. “He’s reducing America’s tendency to get involved in any and every war.”

Flint and a group of law professors in Australia are the third to nominate Trump for the prize.
Yeah, still won't happen. Don't care what fucking Murdoch shit you post.

Only if you haven't ratfucked the FEC into uselessness by not bothering to nominate anyone.

Oh, right we're still in the timeline where Trump could literally murder people and his followers would say it's not illegal.

I mean, his lawyers already literally argued that he could actually shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and he couldn't be prosecuted for it...

Uhm... as someone who was in Kiev when Chernobyl blew up and is now in Seattle... How about instead of nuclear, we build more batteries over the cascades, around Tri Cities, then build infrastructure that would then push that energy to California and where ever else needed on West Coast... that’s a shit ton of solar and wind energy that gets burned off on a regular basis, instead of going anywhere or being stored. We have a clean energy solution, over the mountains from Seattle...

Not for the short term. Nuclear is really the way to go. They simply do not fail at this point - and Chernobyl was an outlier of Soviet incompetence more than anything else. Long term is certainly green/sustainable. But to reach that goal, nuclear is the bridge.
