No, but it's a great example of the disconnect between progressive policies and candidates.

They do support these things. And despite their popularity, Republicans still vote for candidates who don't support them.

    Literally proving my point here.

its clear to me that elections are only based on culture war mentality now, which is very dangerous, almost feels like weimer, like people dont vote based on policy but rather if they assign to their cultural values, if you are educated, and socially progressive you are seen as anti working class even if you support policies they like economically like unions and minimum wage.

Democrats do not support single payer healthcare, they literally voted it down as part of their party platform during the Democratic convention this year.

DNC platform committee votes to reject Medicare for All despite overwhelming support from voters
Polls show more than 85% of Democrats support Medicare for All. The DNC panel rejected it in a 125-36 vote
Please explain why the Democratic Party doesn't support something 85% of their party supports. Make it make sense.

It doesn’t seem like Americans care enough to vote... they can do what ever they want... it’s not reflected in voting.

Around 80-90% of Americans support gun control, even though conservatives don't. Should Democrats give up on supporting gun control because conservatives don't, even though Americans overwhelmingly support it?
Absolutely... they do more damage to gun control, by making it a wedge issue. Concede rhetorically and do it through legislation...

This is your scam... you are misrepresenting what people support, when you say single payer.

Make it make sense to me. If Americans overwhelmingly support something, why should Democrats not support doing that thing???
Because you are ignoring what people are telling you, to repeat shit like a music box.

CNN reporting Trump Campaign is actually suing PA to stop counting. Surely that can't work?

I don’t think so... In US you can file a suite for anything... like the one I like to use as an example... someone sued a football player, because the thought of his tiny penis, caused them 250 million worth of emotional damage. Basically, a fan of the opposing team, filed a lawsuit, that was pretty much a very... long... troll, saying he had a tiny dick.

dems could abandon the identity politics thing and it wouldnt matter, hell joe wasnt even that candidate anyways, although some of the specific hate i see for kamala rather than joe shows she had some negative effect on his result, but again trumpers arent voting against biden, they arent voting against the DNC platform, they are voting against the dem base which theey percieve as the pink haired social justice warrior crowd... and the only way you can change that is to change the dem base which we are stuck with, it just sucks were going to lose to an authoritarian instead of a normal conservative,

It won't. It is classic Trump "Throw shit at the wall and see what sticks".

The logic is pretty clear, Trump has to create enough noise and controversy to prevent the "Biden won the election fair and square" narrative from taking root. The more attacks he launches, the more he can make it seem like the issue isn't resolved. It is his strategy for literally everything. He is just trying to make the facts controversial, he doesn't have to win lawsuit, just launch it. Then use its dismissal to feed the persecution complex.

Yes, because again, the specific proposals, when offered, have garnered considerably less support than the "idea" of M4A.

    https://slate.com/business/2019/10/m...s-popular.html

Recent polling by other organizations has shown even lower levels of support for a single-payer system. An NBC/Wall Street Journal survey last month found just 41 percent said they backed one, with 56 percent against, while a Fox News poll found 46 percent in favor and 48 percent against. But polling results on health care can be extremely sensitive to how the question is phrased. What makes the Kaiser Family Foundation survey interesting is that it’s been asking the public the same version of its question for more than two years now—“Do you favor or oppose having a national health plan, sometimes called Medicare-for-all, in which all Americans would get their insurance from a single government plan?”—giving us a picture of how public opinion has evolved. And it suggests that as single payer has become a more contentious political topic during the presidential campaign, it has lost a bit of its shine.
