    Shadowlands Final Boss

As the title implies I'm going to drop the bomb as early as now and say Odyn would be the ENDGAME boss for Shadowlands.

I will release a series of discourse as we go along the development of Shadowlands contents from, Alpha, beta, live and various interweaving topics.

Shadowlands deal with the mythos of afterlife in WoW and the enigmatic status of the departed. Is there a life after death? What is on the other side?

"This world is a prison, and I will set us all free." - Sylvanas Windrunner
The dead stays dead not until there is somebody to beckon them to ressurect back to life. There are priests, paladins, druids, shamans and other methods such as soulstones, defiblators and others. Then there are Valkyrs.

Since SL is still currently on Alpha, I wouldn't drop everything all at once but I have some evidence ready, waiting.

    It’s the Jailer.

They’ve said he’s the overarching villain of this expansion. They wanted to go back to having one after not doing so since... Cata, I guess?

The Jailer will be pretty much be like Azshara in BfA and Gul'dan in Legion. he might even be tier 9.1 boss and might be carried over to 9.2 if not the death God Muehzalah and a side boss of Hakkar.

We will probably have a glimpse as to what happened to Nerzhul and his connection with the Jailer. Again we are dealing with the second Jailer, first being Illidan and now that the LK has been relieved of his duty as the jailer of the damned, we will definitely deal with the real deal jailer of the dead.

As mentioned it will be the Jailer.

I could see Odyn as the mid tier raid for some variety but we have had alot of titan shit in BFA so they might want to avoid it?

They just said that everything is being based around him & his motives. I think he's going to be prevalent throughout the entire expac but I think he's going to be a sort of Gul'dan scenario

To be fair it's either going to be him, Sylvanas (but she doesn't die a la Garrosh) or "their boss" that Blizzard mentioned. That is if he doesn't turn out to be another nebulous untouchable force or they forget that themselves..

both are Dungeon bosses. Muehzalah is also an ally to the Jailer

What reason is there to assume Odyn will be the final boss? There's nothing hinting to it.

Mueh'zala is one of The Jailers underlings. You've got some reading to do before you're ready to discuss any of this.

Frankly, i don't expect him to show up at all. He didn't even show for N'zoth, and that'd be his direct responsibility.

Legion and BfA has been dropping breadcrumbs about him being a villain.

Remember that there is the all seeing eye and the eye motif of N'Zoth? Shadowlands will the icing in the cake for the entire elemental planes fiasco and the real secret behind Emerald dreams.

He is one of the most connected characters to the shadowlands. I definitely think his Eye will appear, based on how the Val'kyr look im going to guess Bastion.

We're not yet done with the whole N'Zoth storyline and we haven't entirely hammered the last nail on his coffin.

We have to physically enter Nya'lotha the resting place of the servants of N'Zoth and himself.

Similar to the treatment of WotLK storlyline and continuum into Shadowlands
    TBC to Legion
    TBC to WoDs
It's not a closed book story telling at all.

It's the Jailer until proven otherwise.

If the Jailer is toppled in a mid-expansion raid, it will be because Sylvanas has betrayed him in a twist and she will become the final boss.

It being anyone other than those two is also possible, but very unlikely.

I hope it's Sylvanas... I's soooo sick of her already (as if I didn't hate her since W3)

Nah, she should be a dungeon boss.

She doesn't deserve the privilege of being a raid boss.
