I was pretty uninterested when they revealed it was going to be Viking stuff a year ago or whatever, but I've warmed up to it. I really enjoyed the setting of the last couple games, and this will breathe some fresh air into the series.

oddesy was/is freaking epic. Looks great.

But i wonder...how are you going to a creed game with little to no big cities/towns.
And god of war was already there.

They should have picked something more city like. Russia, west coast america, ireland, japan, china, india.

But maybe they will suprise us.

Man and in 2 weeks most likely the new 3000 nivdea series. So my vacation money is going into upgrading my rig. new cpu+motherboard+ssd+ramm+gpu.

While York and other English cities are a likely possibility, there's also a chance that we'll get some Varangian-related content. 1000AD-era Constantinople would be a-mazing.

If it's anything like the other assassin's creed games it will be ok until it starts being assassin's creed. Then it will go from meh this is ok to oh god this is trash.

This is going to be awesome. love Vikings, love AC, put about 200 hours into Odyssey. REALLY hope they stick with a similar combat/skill system in Valhalla.

Fingers crossed we get weapon and shield back, as well. I wanna be a big berserker tank viking!

I'm thinking they've said before they won't, because it's been done to death in so many other games.

I don't want feudal Japan, anyway: I want the end of the Edo period and the Meiji Revolution. Unlike most of the other games, you start out armed to the teeth and then the sword ban hits and you can't be seen in public looking like you're ready to go to war, forcing you to get more creative in your methodology.

Maybe Commodore Perry was a Templar and forced Japan to open up for the usual nefariousness.
