Yeah, but it seems like the version number is still 0.0.1 which suggests still in a VERY early stage of development. I suspect no release in 2021.

HYPE the next Diablo game that gets destroyed as if D3 didn't kill the franchise already and now they go at it again with D3.5
According to this Kotaku article a while back, D4 is Fenris and OW2 is Calypso

Concerning: "Diablo Immortal is unlikely to hit release at this point."
This is inaccurate and based on assumption. A few days ago, during the Activision Blizzard Q1 2020 conference call, it was clearly stated that Diablo Immortal beta testing is on track for mid 2020. We have known beta testing was coming mid 2020 since February, so that comment was just confirmation that plans are on track for it to happen.
You don't confirm you are beta testing a game if it is unlikely to hit release.
Concerning Diablo IV CDN, I agree it might mean Blizzard is bringing the internal Alpha client online soon so that developers and employees in the work-at-home policy can play the game and offer feedback. A release date or a public closed alpha haven't been announced. It would be really nice if they did, but I think it is wayyyy to early for Diablo 4 to be in public closed Alpha.

Mobile games are purely there to prey on you financially
As far as entertainment goes, mobile games are inferior in every way to pc/console
Supporting mobile games incentivizes companies to put their efforts into an inferior product (inferior for the consumer)
I’m saying you are trash, go find a different hobby
And yes I know you were just trolling, this is mainly for the silent people that don’t post that were actually excited about a mobile game
Infracted for flaming.

The systems of D4 have my interest very low. I just want depth and their stats are so watered down it hurts. PoE is going to continue to dominate if they choose to keep going down that path.

That's an interesting take; for me, I am more concerned with item rarity fueling the desire to keep hunting along with building spec diversity, and interesting procs and or stats on the rare items that we can tailor our gameplay around. One of the great parts of D3 is creating sets and legendaries around a particular playstyle, but I'd like to see that along with the rarity and targeting we had in D2. Just my opinion, I imagine others prefer the chasing a higher Rift clear playstyle, but to me it's the less fun type of repetition.
"Can't you see this is the last act of a desperate man?"
"We don't care if it's the first act of Henry the Fifth, we're leaving!"
Thats definitely part of it when I saw "Attack" and "Defense" being the main driving point of gear, my heart sunk. Itemization has been my main issue with D4 so far. I appreciate their aesthetic return to Diablos roots but the lack of uniqueness to the items is painful. Look at this pic for example. It's just so..plain, Rares in D2 had so much more variety and fun to them. To me personally, It's just a very bad sign.
