Dude, from early on on both factions it was pretty apparent N'zoth would have a presence and his hands all over things. Just becasue it wasn't visually themed as all old god all the time, didn't meant it wasn't. Even with MoP, the faction war started things off but early on it was apparent we would be dealing with old gods in some form.

This is suck a bad argument. That because a lore figure is dealt with or disposed of ina dungeon doesn't mean they don't care. As wel as becasue they keep loose ends around for future story devices that may take many expansions to get to doesn't mean they don't care. After Murozond's defeat, the Infinite Dragonflight was wrecked. Sure they still helped Garrosh escape, but for them to show up all the time just becasue people thing the CoT stuff is cool would become a joke. Let them bide thier time and come back when the time is right.

10.0 might be the perfect time for their return, with all the heroes gone, many of the important leaders gone, and a potential decent sized time skip coming, they just might be back.

They don't need to. We saw his death, but not his fall. The fun part about time travel stories is that not every party has to go through them in the same chronological order.

Murozond is a game breaking persona if Nozdormu which is a hard pass for just being a dungeon boss. Sooner or later we will have an encounter on a raid level.
