Could it be a release date?
The Battle for Azeroth release date was announced on April 5th 2018 and it was released just over four months later on August 14th (131 days).
Legion's was announced on April 18th 2016 and was released just over four months later on August 30th 2016 (134 days.)
So IF a release date for Shadowlands is incoming and IF they are following the pattern of the past two expansions that would point to October 20th 2020 or thereabouts.
Interesting to see.
Interesting, we'll see what they want to show us, seems to be something important! :3
lmao who the fuck cares if the current pvp week is underway? nerf that broken corruption now
Cant wait to hear once again how Lore and RPG aspects of the game are too important for Blizzard (now) so they cant get rid of pain in the ass and let players freely swap Covenant abilities like talents or Warmode.

If they announce a release date, then everyone will call SL rushed because it has then. Only being in alpha about 2 months.
Blizz will not do that, so early for an Alpha for an Upcoming Product release of their Franchises.
So i seriously doubt that. I think it will just be mostly summaries of what we have already heard / seen so far. Maybe a few sneak peeks for Upcoming soon things yet to be tested on the alpha. But thats it.
BfA Beta wasn't too short, but devs wasted many time early stage and didn't get any extra to fix systems/classes. And let's face it, if Blizzard would screw SL Alpha start as well, I doubt they would get more than 1-2 extra months. We already know rough deadline - Q4 2020.
You can freely swap war mode? Maybe you shouldn't advertise cheating since the rest of us can only turn it on in stormwind/org and turn it off in rest areas.

It doesnt matter when its release date is of when its release date is announced. The majority will still flock here to shine about how its unfinished, rushed or trash. Just like those people have done with every expansion.
At least if they give a release date, those of us who actually enjoy playing wow will have something to look forward to.
People will call it rushed even if it was released next year. People complain, it's the nature of the world.
But do realize that for all the complaints people have, Legion received little and wasn't considered rush. BFA suffered from bad core systems that would take far too much to overhaul. BFA should have been delayed because there was already so much wrong with it. SL has a lot of right going for it currently.
This, i think there will be a lot of higher quality looks at things that aren't in yet. Maybe some more customization options -hopefully- that they don't have in the build yet. Also would give them a chance to talk more about covenants and hopefully explain the system in more detail. Lots to look forward to still even if no release date.
On this update all I can say is:
GG
P.s. Give Velf more hairstyles and beard options. Belf are getting ultra hot daddy customizations, don't leave Velf looking like a cheap emo from the 90ies.
It's coming out late oct/early-mid nov or being delayed til 2021 anyway, there is zero chance it's coming out late nov. (like last week of it) or dec. based off raid release times and vacation times. Last week of Nov and first 2 weeks of Dec would put raid release far too close to Blizzards holiday vacation and the last 2 weeks are no go because they put release itself too close (you don't release a major product and have the majority of your staff disappear a week later.
What more is there to reveal really? Heres to hoping for a cool cinematic and a release date. Beyond that, what is there to see?
