I think, at least in the short term, the Bronze Dragonflight and Anachronos were looking to fix a mistake that one of their own (Kairozdormu) made when he sided with Garrosh and misused the Bronzes' power as well as the Vision of Time to create/solidify a timeway that should never have been. Essentially Garrosh and Kairoz condemned AU Draenor to the slow death of all alternate timelines, ensuring that the all denizens of that world would eventually die out. At least by helping empower the Vision they ensure some of the AU Orcs can escape the destruction of AU Draenor - and given the state of Yrel and her militant Draenei fanatics they don't really want to extend a bridge to them.

And of course with the Bronze flight there is always some future unknown they're hedging their bets on, which won't be revealed to us unless it becomes relevant later on.

Shouldn't bronze dragons want entire AU to die?

I believe their true motif is that someone modified the reality to make fourth war happen and they tried to avoid Horde losing.

Most WoW stories have OK premises and bad execution, this time the premise was beyond idiotic and the execution was awful. To this day I still have no idea how anyone sane approved of this.

After that, there's quite a few runner-ups, such as "DRAENOR IZ FREE", "there must suddenly always be a Lich King", Deathwing being turned into a mindless murderrage critter, more or less all of TBC, Med'an, Orc Hitler, Anime villain Sylvanas... The list could go on for quite the long time, to be honest.

The "they have no backstory" argument is and was always a moot point. A backstory is not necessary at all if it has no tie to the main story. What we knew of the void elves was enough to understand why exactly they would end up in Telogrus Rift and why they'd feel entitled to joining the Alliance.

They were never going to make playable High Elves anyway. It took them 3 YEARS to give void elves pink skin, something that should've been here since their introduction.

Sargeras reaches azeroth and decides to just float above it in a cloud instead of cleaving it in half immediately. Even worse, the reason is supposedly "love". Oh fuck OFF.

The Titans are a mysterious race that is world build far far away. OMG! Plot Twist! They are all dead! OMG! Plot Twist! They all send their souls to Azeroth! OMG! Plot Twist! They are all alive again somehow..whatever. OMG! Plot Twist! They ordered the Shadowlands or something blah blah.

Totally ruining the Titans at this point with this nonsense. I expect the Titans will be killed and resurrected 4x in SL. And swap from good to evil and back 6x as well.
