What a load of blatant hypocrisy. There's only one motivating factor among the Acitivions-Blizzard C levels and that's potential profits.

All lives matter implies black lives matter.
Sylvanas would disagree. Also havn't Warcraft been one big mixed up racewar in its core since release?
Imagine if Sylvanas becomes woke in Shadowlands as a result of all this. Surely hope the storywriters keep it calm and sway away from "The Last of Us 2" roadmap, cause damn that looks grim in the public right now.
Keep videogames and movements in reality seperated please.

So the question is, how is this going to combat racism in the US, which I assume this is trying to target, refer back to my post, is this an admission from Blizzard, after introspecting that they are racist company and this is a pledge to change?
Or is this meant to broadcast the most obvious and milquetoast hot take ever made by a company, i.e racism is bad.
If the latter, who are you trying to talk to? Your audience who by en large most likely already knows that racism is bad and aren't racist. Or the racists who don't care about your opinion on their racism.
including black lives.

I believe blizzard had an established rule to not spread your political beliefs via the esports platform. Bliztchung broke that rule and was punished in doing so.

Tell it to the cops.
This thread sure is pretty.

You, low IQ, people comparing a single house, a single bone broken, a single child dead, with a whole race, it is pure #idiocracy.
You compare a single house on fire, if like ALL "BLACK LIVES" were killed in that incident. How can you even breath with that kind of logic in your head.
Another one was making a video comparing "broken bones", trying to preach the same example as you did, saying somthing like "so you got an ankle bone in pain and you go to the doctor. You don't say "ALL MY BONES HURT!!!", you just say "my ankle bone hurts". So people must understand why we are not using "all lives matter"" Dude, are you drunk ? Not all bones are broken, just like not all "BLACK LIVES" are victims, just like not all HOUSES are on fire.
Stop spreading sh1t examples, cause for people who don't think for themselfs and have an IQ =<100, it will kind of make sense, just like it does to you.
When someone is a victim, they are not ALL VICTIMS, doesn't matter we talk about race/colors/rape/theft/etc.!
All lives matter, all races have shitty persons, rapist, burglers, scums. Don't bring #IDIOCRACY in our planet.

Mighty one, never forget.
Blizzard keep quiet about what they do behind the scenes: WAAAH BLIZZARD DON'T GIVE A FUCK.
Blizzard post what they do behind the scene: WAAAAH THEY ARE JUST DOING IT TO LOOK GOOD TO MAKE MORE MONEY

Never understood people's desire that companies do virtue signaling. Only reason a company does anything political is because they think it earns money and favor. Whenever a company speaks about it all I can hear is "like us and buy our products because look how we parrot what you guys value".
*shrug* I really don't get it...

If Blizzard could profit from police brutality, they would be plastering Trump portraits all over Twitter.
Dont believe corporations, look how they behave when the push comes to shove.
I know that Blizzard went into his penalty over the fact he used Blizzard’s platform to spread his own personal message.
This post is Blizzard’s stance as a company. They are separate incidents. Blizzard can choose to support, or not support, whomever they want.

To some people who try to make it mean that, sure. The issue is that All Lives Matter was created to undermine the meaning behind Black Lives Matter, and some people still use it for that.
Not liking that your favorite white skinned race can now be black is the epitome of racism.
The Hong Kong thing was bad optics for Blizzard but they were in the right. Maybe not completely but to a major extent. Esports event isnt' a place for what the guy did, and in the end they backpeddled on all his punishments anyway. Imagine if the guy started rallying for Trump instead and got disqualified. Probably people would be far more accepting.
As for the corporate thing...sure, companies are bad because they are doing whatever they can to make money. That's what we can believe, but the reality is that is the system we are living in. Don't blame the companies, blame the system. They are just playing the game by the rules alreayd set.

Except they do not. The stance they took was that of neutral, choosing not to display a stance either for or against what was happening in China. They are choosing a stance here.
As stated, the issue with Blitzchung is that a solo person, not affiliated wit Blizzard in any way except as a competitor in one of their events, used Blizzard’s platform for his own beliefs.
This issue they are not staying silent about.
