Dictatorships don't let people elect the dictator, it's more of a Authoritarian state.

Romania had a dictatorship, and it too had elections. Of course Ceauchescu won with 90% of the votes every time because they were mock elections where the other candidate didn't really run against him, and the results didn't matter anyway.

That was my point, in a dictatorship you cant elect the leader, even if they allow elections the results are predetermined. This is why it's so lolworthy when people try to call Russia a dictatorship, dictators don't win with 50 something % of the vote and nearly lose to the damn communist party xD
