probably reintroduce long gone mounts and transmog sets (T3, Warbear etc etc) for like a year and see subs explode.

I come from a time and a place where I judge people by the content of their character; I don't give a damn if you are tall or short; gay or straight; Jew or Gentile; White, Black, Brown or Green; Conservative or Liberal. -- Note to mods: if you are going to infract me have the decency to post the reason, and expect to hold everyone else to the same standard.
That's true. A big part of the WoW experience is the excitement of what is going to drop. It's certainly interesting, but also very unreliable. FFXIV uses tokens all the fucking time. Personally I would prefer a mix of the two. I like it that gearing is easy and that giant spiders don't drop battle axes (which is totally fucked up) but if I kill a ninja master, I want his daggers.
Doesnt make any sense. WoW success was never about content, and never will be. Look at Classic, the game has 0 content, and it's still better than retail.

My snarky answer was going to be player generated content (Devs: "Fine, you always complain about our expansions? Make your own game then, and good luck!"). Then I thought about it for a second and realized I've seen fan expansion ideas that are actually decent. Then I thought about it again for another second and thought about all the silly shit I've seen on here, too.
