    Before the Legion expansion, the PvP medallion line of trinkets (often called the “CC break trinket”) removed all movement impairing and loss of control effects from the player, with a 2 minute cooldown. These trinkets were considered uniquely powerful PvP rewards, and they were considered mandatory in high level competitive content.

    In Legion, the PvP template system deactivated all effects from gear. This meant that functionality like this had to be included in the honor talent system, along with alternatives.

    For Shadowlands, we plan to restore this CC break functionality to a trinket, and make it a powerful PvP trinket option that comes exclusively from PvP. Players will be able to purchase this trinket for Honor or Conquest from one of the new PvP vendors returning in Shadowlands.

    Good, 1 less offensive trinket to makes PVP so much less bursty

    bad call. cc break being tied to the pvp talents was a good thing.

    this will only exacerbate more the discrepancy between pvp and pve gear.

    Very good decision. Now go a step further and reintroduce the 2-set PvP trinket bonus from MoP.

    I don't understand this thought process. Shouldn't people who actively pvp and thus have PVP gear have an advantage in PVP? Is that not how PvE works already?

    It's one less trinket you need to grind PvE content for if you are solely into PvP, and if you want to do the PvE content you can still get that second trinket like you always have. If you are a PvE player who wants to do some PvP you have to do a little bit before you get the trinket. It's not a problem at all.

    Blizz made a mistake and they listened to people like you. Since MoP they fucked up everything. I hope they will stop listening to people who suck at everything. PvP is not for PvE geared people. In MoP everyone was same geared if they were willing to farm PvP gear. There was justice. In this expansion there is no justice. Whoever has better ger has higher chance to win.

    So you can take your PvE gear and put it on your chair and sit there.

    I would assume the talent is being nixed.

    This means 1 less PvE trinket in PvP, very good change.

    Also this likely means the removal of adaptation/relentless, good fucking riddance.

    No it just furher skews any semblance of balance, go human get to use two pve trinkets.

    Going Human isn't a substitute for CC trinket. Also this is one of the best changes announced so far. More PvP gear for PvP not forcing players to raid.

    They should bring back PvP Power and Resilience back, so Mythic and + players can't just sweep through lesser geared PvP'ers.
