Shadowlands Beta - The Great Vault
The Great Vault has received an update in the latest Shadowlands Beta Build, changing the numbers required to unlock more gear options.

• Raids: To add items to the Great Vault you will have to defeat 3, 7 or 10 Raid Bosses (unchanged from the previous build).
• Mythic Dungeons: To add items to the Great Vault you will have to complete 1, 4 or 10 Mythic Dungeons instead of 1, 5 or 15.
• PvP: To add items to the Great Vault you will have to earn 125, 350 or 875 Conquest Points instead of 100, 150 or 250.

Super Squirt Day (EU)
Squirt the Wandering Trainer is up today in the Garrison on EU realms! The Pet Battle Bonus Event is also active this week, which means you can level pets very fast. If you have the Safari Hat or a Lesser Pet Treat then you can use the strategy below to level pets from 1 to 25 in just 3 minutes. Alternatively, you can use other setups highlighted on Xu-Fu's Pet Battle Strategies.

Pets:

• Enchanted Broom [2/2/2]
• Boneshard [2/2/2]
• Any Level 1 Pet

Strategy:

• Sweep - Puzzle is forced in
• Swap to your Level 1 Pet
• Swap to Boneshard
• BONESTORM (first ability)
• BONESTORM (second ability)
• BONESTORM (third ability)
• Pass - Boneshard dies
• Swap to Enchanted Broom
• Wind-Up
• Wind-Up - Puzzle dies, Deebs comes in
• Batter - Deebs dies, Tyri comes in
• Batter

How long before people look at the vault and cry how blizzard is putting a gun to their head to force them to do all of the above? Even though they could simply say no and do what they want and get the same amount of loot and not be in a position where their gear makes or breaks a kill.

Effort should be raiding and raiding only, Nothing outside of raids should be needed to be optimal/Viable in raids.

And really nothing outside raids ever has been needed to be viable in raids. There are catch up mechanics and ways to get additional gear on top of raiding, but it has never been necessary to do. I think your real problem is losing the special feeling of only getting high ilvl gear from raiding. Sorry snowflake, that time is long gone.

IKedit's videos comes off as cliché tech demo of video effects rather than an honest attempt at storytelling. Like, the class videos aren't even capturing the class's fantasy but rather some weird hero moments where the class somehow 1 shots everything with seemingly randomly inserted camera angles/panning and lighting effects between scenes.

It's similar to the Unreal Engine recreations which use assets from the game and/or Unreal store, where the game engine effects are neat but the assets stand out poorly or are just generic.

What kind of rock did you crawl out from under? did you miss the past 2 expansions?

You pretty much have had to live in M+ & Wquests for the past expansions in order to keep up.

If you raid logged you were in no way so far behind that you couldn't kill the boss. Not in EN, ToV, NH, ToS, Ant, Uldir, the two boss one, BoD, Azshara or Ny'alotha.

Could you a bit behind? Maybe. Was it mathmatically impossible to kill the bosses? Hell no.

Sorry normal people don't go with "I am fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorced to do it." if your raid leader is telling you to. Say no, if they act up tell them to stop being a god damn child and go fuck themselves.

Vanilla- dungeons for attunements/gear/professions, world content for professions/reps/attunements/gear
tbc- the same
wotlk- dungeons for badges, world for reps/professions/enchants
cata- same
mop- same
wod- not really anything but raid
legion and bfa are the ones with M+ so yeah, but you would have to be thick to think that we have never required having to do content outside of raids to raid.

raid logging was really only WoD. other then that you would always be somewhat behind, you can do it but you would be called lazy, and you would be, cause you would be doing less then you could in an actual farming settup.
