I am good at dancing in the sheets, not too bad on my feet either but I don't enjoy dancing that much.

Slow dancing is easy, I can do that. I'm not too bad at swing dancing.
If I'm really drunk I get a lot of compliments on my dancing.

i dont know why, but i cant dance anything under 150 bpm. above im even pretty good, at least for rave dancing standard...

Not particularly. My spouse is the dancer in the family and used to love going to discos all the time, but I'm pretty subpar at it. I enjoy music but am super uncoordinated. My martial arts over the last decade has been a challenging prospect for me; I pick up things much slower than other people and feel like I have to practice twice as much as everyone else to really get it down. I could probably learn to dance at least somewhat competently, but if my martial arts training experience is any indication, it would take much more time and effort than I am willing to give (and would rather focus on becoming a better fighter).
We both love dance though. We used to (yknow, pre-pandemic) have season ticket to the performances for a nearby university that has a very well respected dance program, and attend various dance performances, contests and showcases, whether hiphop or bboy or more traditional types of dance - we like it all. When I work out, I usually put on a YouTube dance video playlist in the background instead of just music cos it does better at getting me into it.
I don't have a favourite dance, or a specific dancer, but I'm a massive fan of the dance group the Kinjaz.

Yes, couple dancing. Attended a group for a few months that taught me the basics for bugg, single-time swing and rumba. Also got to try out a few others.

Out of the aforementioned, rumba. Latino dances have more energy to them. Though funk intrigues me the most.

Don't have one, it's not about recognizable names for me.

Never once danced in public, way too shy about it. I've only just been able to sing in private as of the last few years.
Sounds silly to admit but it was this song that sparked that in me. Since then I love singing in private, it's very freeing.
Still can't get myself to dance though, though I can pull off a mean headbang for the DOOM Eternal Soundtrack when the bloodlust takes hold. Originally Posted by Aucald
