When you go to her, at least as a max level character, she says "The situation in Icecrown needs you."

But nothing has happened in Icecrown yet.

Does she know something we don't?

This is a byproduct of WoW currently being in the Shadowlands pre-patch and nothing more.

I've read that also Nathanos Blightcaller was available shortly as a world boss in the eastern plaguelands.

Well be fair, the Icecrown skybox has changed already, so there is reason to assume that the events of the cinematic trailer has already happened, even if noone has brought it up yet.

Though even with that, it is just another in the reasonable pile of evidence that suggests the pre-patch events were supposed to start immediately, or at least only a week or so in.

yeah but the bronze Dragonflight no longer has knowledge of the one true timeline since Deathwing died. Because immortal beings that have perfect recollection of their entire lives (in the case of the bronze flight of all time past and future) can no longer remember what comes next because ... blizzard has the best writers.
