I have to say though, looking back I really wish they had killed Nathanos off for good. Just have Tyrande destroy his soul after killing him, that would have at least added some poignancy to the whole ending with Sylvanas if she ended up actually losing something.

Why does she have to loose something? Her goal was to actually create a better universe, and she got decieved hard by the Jailer. She was never inherently evil even if some haters (or that Afrasiabi dude ...) would like her to be. And in the end, her consequences actually led to a reform of the Shadowlands and a better system for everyone now that Pelagus allows souls to have a word in their judging process. Kyrians and Venthyr also got a major improvement. Her actually having to do something good and help retrieving souls from the Maw is a great ending for now, and I can't wait to get her, Dorithu, Anduin and Nathanos back in a future expansion.

This. Also, Sylvanas was hurt enough by losing her homeland and her siblings and had to take comfort in leading and giving a purpose to literal decaying undeath.

The Alliance slaughtered innocent Goblin miners in Silithus BEFORE Sylvanas did anything. They also exported the Azerite that the HORDE found on Kalimdor through Teldrassil, so burning the only possible export of Azerite is a strategic victory no matter what you might think.

My guess is that the 9.2.5 is going to have something to do with re-building some of the capital cities. Probably something where players contribute before the new versions are released. Might be something like the Gates of Ahn'Oiraji but where players will vote with their effort on which cities get revamped first.

It's chaos in communication. Some people who didn't play SL or only tried it for few hours genuinely believe Anima is power grind just like AP. That's what happens when almost every big WoW creator is focused on drama, not guiding people. Few times even sites like wowhead created drama from clickbait.

Look how in past few years Blizzard try to counter it with long blue posts explaining every new feature before patch drop. In the past we didn't have this, every time new content drop, community made multiple videos explaining everything.

Provocation and slaughtering people from your alliance is not worth mentioning? It is totally in line with everything that happened after and a good leader would do counter measures to prevent it. Do you just smile at your enemy that is killing your people and let them export the valuable resource that you found so they can then use it against you? After all, they killed miners so they will have no problem continuing to slaughter more people with the power that the Azerite brings.

I mean, just wow. Your prejudice is showing hard. Don't worry tho, the Night Elves didn't go extinct.

I will give you a real life example: If a country goes and invades Russia and starts exporting their oil and gas illegally and kills the people working there you can absolutely expect a nuke to drop on that country.
