If they don't give us at least the Alexstrasza, Ysera and other aspects tier of customization for the actual humanoid form (not just the dragon form) then I'd be very pissed.

They’re honestly probably saving that for the class.

I am honestly pleased with the model. It looks like a real dragon humanoid, instead of something like the Au Ra from FF14. The old drakonid models didn't have wings and some didn't have tails. I can't wait to see what the male looks like now! Totally hyped to play that ruby dragonflight caster spec in the third pic too!

I do find it funny how some people are having a literal meltdown about it though. Did you not expect a dragon to look like a dragon?

I think most of the rage stems from the female Dragon having a slender and boring form. The neck is a little long and the face is small, though it may be the angle, as we see in the red screenshot that they have a long face.

The problem is that Blizz feels beholden for women to be soft, slender and lame compared to men. However, being from an RP server with a lot of women who play female humans and blood elves primarily, I think people may actually like that.

The dragonmen and drakonid both lack wings, and the dragonmen and drakonid are both "too ugly" for normal consumers. The race makes perfect sense even if its jarring and annoys lorefans because it's something new: it is a hard sell to casual consumers to play a dragon race that lacks wings.

Honestly I agree. I prefer this dragon race to some of the other stuff suggested or seen on the web. I won’t touch one with a ten ft pole, but I can see the scalies go apeshit for it.

Probably that the original images have watermarkings that could identify the leaker, so he downscaled and blurred it to avoid the watermark be visible.

I would prefer a "flying with their wings" running wild, because otherwise it is pointless for them to have wings if they just turn into a dragon for flight.

I think it's far more likely to be a fake model replacement for Worgen on a private server.

They wouldn't let DHs have their wings out because they can't fly with them. If they really are implementing a race with wings they are 100% going to let them fly. See: stoneborn and kyrian in SL.

I think thats because Blizz doesn't want a class to have flying wings. A race is another question.

Frankly it looks better than those ugly af female Drakonoids, so I’m satisfied with Blizzard going in this direction.

As for the wings, I’m willing to bet that one of the racials is a slow fall ability.

Well lizard races in WoW do have a precedent of crazy levels of dimorphism. Look at how different the naga males and females are. If the male dracthyr or w/e is comparable to the male naga, I think we may be in for a treat!

These screenshots are fake. The dragon race is an obvious reskin of the Metamorphosis form used by Female DHs as @Nightshade711 pointed out.

This part is pure conjecture but I think Scaleface and Axaron (and possibly Deventh) are all working together to push this whole Drac'thyr thing as being real. Maybe they're the masterminds behind this whole operation...

It's a good fake and I commend you for making it! But it's not perfect as there are some details that give it away as being fake if you look carefully.

If its fake it's the most elaborate rouse we have ever had IMO.

Give Blizz as much shit as you want for the FemDragon having a lame face and body... but the wings and tail are pretty fucking cool.
