I think that over-armoring ruins a lot of WoW mounts, tbh. Tough to appreciate a unique, new creature when it's half-covered in ostentatious armor and decor.

No, it totally does which makes sense. Mana wyrms are associated with the blood elves as the first location we ever encountered them.

It's not a mask it's a bridle, the item that allows you to direct a horse when riding. A majority of mounts have them and is way more realistic than a saddle you just hold onto.

Also it seems like they are re-using the "water texture" from the tiger for other mounts too, as you can see it's ribs. Bet that's also how the jelly cat mount will look in season 4! Exciting.

Damn, so hyped for Dragonflight now, knowing those armours in the preview is actual armour and not just cosmetic is sweet.

Also, extra bag slot feels wild. Still, can't wait to see how far along the alpha/beta is.
