Dragonflight Alpha/Beta General Discussion

Looking at the leaked image, two things I noticed. Minor both.

First, the braziers flanking the entrance seem to have a gem for each flight's color. Nice touch. I'm guessing anyway, red and black are clear and there seems to be an orange-y one for bronze.

Second, there's that emblem in the background to the left, of a pair of golden scales on a white field. I don't recognize the emblem, but my mind went to the Scale of the Sands faction group from way back when, but as far as I can tell they don't have an emblem.

Could just be denoting some sort of merchant area or bank maybe, though.

Good eyes! Perhaps the thing below that emblem is the mailbox of the town?

I'm also rather pleased the town looks like it's made for dragons of actual dragon size, rather than their visage forms

Here’s what I “predict” will happen:

1). People on the NDA Alpha will record videos, photos, etc. ready to go and release on Thursday (with Blizzard’s permission, of course).

2). Alpha will become dataminable (Thursday)

3). Alpha for public viewing (along with plenty of videos, blogs, data mines, etc.) will be available (Thursday)

maybe it was the preview build that got rolled back to not leak anything (more) after the event is done.

Its funny how everyone thinks Alpha will be available thursday, while the only thing we will get are some videos by content creators showing off some the features. Alpha itselves prob not till after S4 comes out.

Taking it away from Monks and then giving something similar to Evoker would make me furious, honestly. Monk without Chi was never the same fun.

(Mistweaver) Monks had Chi in MoP and WoD and then it got removed in Legion. But they had basically the exact same interface with 5 Chi Orbs, yes. That was peak Monk time. The removal in Legion made the class worse.

Windwalker still uses Chi.

Mistweaver was chi was a blast... shame they removed it, I almost feel like they're struggled to find their niche since then
