Yeah. The way he phrased it he was like, everything up until now is one book in the warcraft universe. Implying that what comes next is more different than expansions have been thus far, a new book.

I don't know, it still feels weird as usually Ion was always very prominent in announcing new content.

So, it's confirmed. The First Ones are the Pre-Titans. They literally created the entire universe and at least some of its various dimensions... somehow. We don't know how, but they did.

Not really. They all read pretty cleanly.

Priest, Monk, Shaman, Hunter, DK, Paladin, Warrior, Demon Hunter, Druid, Rogue, Mage, Warlock.

In fact, lots of them pull elements directly from existing tier sets.

It's entirely a PR move. The art team is the only team in Blizzard who's rap is even neutral at this stage and letting them do some fluff to announce the patch is a way for Blizzard to not take heat on an announcement. They still will, as it's very light on content, but I can see the reasoning.
