You should follow the GOP/Trump party ideal and start accusing him before he's in power!

I kind of question the need for a thread like this, IMO. How many people think that the Biden administration will be anywhere near as scandal plagued as Trump? Or saying outrageous shit every other day?

Depends, do you mean scandal-plagued or "scandal"-plagued?

Yeah, that was something that occurred to me after I posted. The GOP is likely going to take every tiny thing and try to make them huge scandals to get payback for all the scandals Trump had exposed over the past four years.

Well we can discuss Biden doing good things too Actually, this could end up being more nerdy than anything else. After all, what IS the best way to inject a trillion dollars into the economy and improve things the most?

It's possible that after about January 30th or so, there won't be much to say.

Biden announces his acting heads of various departments, the Senate approves some of them.
Biden does his original set of EOs.

    That's it!

Like how he dumped that food in the koi pond because he's lazy! Oh wait no, that was what Abe did and encouraged him to do as well.

Or how he's literally never denounced white supremacy ever in all of his life-wait... he's done that 38 times since 2000. including several times while in office, and literally during the "very fine people" bit you guys love to tout around.

So yeah, I guess we'll be stealing the pages right out of your book. Lie, lie some more, and keep lying until the sheep bleat along.

I concur! If there's anything Trump knows about, it's how to be an honest person!

And then doing the exact opposite.

Or little nothing burgers like deliberately separating migrant children from their parents and proceeding to effectively orphan over 660 children due to either outright malice or sheer incompetence.

Yeah, Trump is such a paragon of virtue. /s

I mean there's also the campaign money he used to pay off a porn-star that he'd been shlubbing on the side while married.
The hilarious number of golf visits on tax payer time to his own resorts.
His generally boorish and highly unprofessional behavior towards... fuck pick a name or group of people out of a hat and you'll find some unwarranted insults or attempts at strong arming thrown their way.
Appointing his unqualified kids - and their S/Os - in spite of or regardless of security concerns to positions of power where they've either done fuck-all or have made things worse.
Turning the Federal Distribution of PPE into some kind of Mad Max free for all rather then actually act like a leader.
Threatening to - or going ahead with - withholding FEMA aid to California while they were being hit by wildfires.
Actively saying he won't distribute Vaccines to New York for reasons.
That whole episode where he attempted to extort Ukraine for information that eventually became that stupid Laptop story.
Two - going on three! - different super spreader events in or around the White House because he refuses to follow COVID Guidelines and encourages anyone in his circle to do the same.
The whole Border Policy debacle as mentioned above, which has only somehow turned out to be more and more cruel the more we learn about it.

...Man I could keep going with this fuckin' list. But, yeah, apparently people are only upset about him wanting more Ice Cream or Feeding some fish or something.

That is the difference between woke corporate democrats and people with integrity. Ordinary people do not care that Trump said dumb shit all the time. What they cared about was that he was corrupt and did not govern in their interests.

Why corporate democrats had such an extraordinarily difficult time unseating him was solely down to the fact they kept on concentrating on how uncouth he was and other things no one cares about, rather than the fact he did not govern in the collective interest. They did this, one suspects, because they are in the pay of wall st and are not going to govern in the collective interest either.

I don't really believe Trump is a racist. His actions don't really bear it out. He hates the poor, many of whom are ethnic minorities, but that is not the same thing.

Trump actually did a very good thing for RICH ethnic minorities. He fought the Florida establishment in a dramatic battle so that minorities would be allowed into his country clubs. That's a big deal if you are rich Jewish or black guy. Democrats like to pretend this never happened. Undoubtedly Trump's motivation was money, but it did show he isn't especially attached to racism unless it serves his interests.

I'd add that while Trump's condemnation of racism is mostly cancelled out by his dog whistling, he is at least bothering to make those denials, insincere as they may be. Biden has never retracted his ugly support for segregation.

What sort of discussion did you expect about two bland corporate-friendly politicians who talk in nothing but anodyne soundbites?

Why? I just need to wait for it to happen. He was already involved with plenty of them during Obama's time and even as his time as a senator.
Or do you really think he will be the first US post-war president to not commit any?

I think your rhetoric makes it completely not mater... I’ve seen your posting about Trump’s war crimes, so I expect similar silenced as it happens with Biden. Just your own chest thumping, before your rhetoric requires more than clairvoyance. Then... poof...

You probably should have waited to start this thread when he was actually in office. Because all you're going to get until he starts implementing (or attempting to implement) policy is whataboutism and laughable nonsense like:

He's been around for sixty years in politics. I don't need to wait till he's in charge to know he's going to govern in the interests of his paymasters in wall st. So does everyone else who wasn't borne yesterday.

Both Biden and Harris have already said some pretty outrageous things. There is nothing to indicate they will stop doing so.
