timezones... it is a bigger problem than you think. it is not just raid release time. it is about every single reset. what if raid takes 3 weeks? is entire region gonna have different reset time for 3 weeks and go back to normal? Do you realize how difficult this is operation wise and let alone for rest of the players? no matter how you slice there will be guilds whose raiding time will be affected by new reset time, do you want to affect thousands of your customers for 20 players?

it is pretty much impossible at this point to change reset time, all blizzard can do is have the race on tournament realm. and that completely removes the MMO aspect of the game.

Would like to see how much dps loss there is for EU players due to latency when they play on US realms with fully optimized connections (or US guilds on EU). That seems to be the only realistic short term solution to the issue.

Looks to be under tuned, especially last phase the boss just melts.

How about Echo adapts if they want to be contender in world first race instead of forcing 1mil+ people to adapt to them and simply start playing on US realms and move to somwhere in America for the duration of the race? They are professional gamers after all...

if you think people can willy nilly go to USA, idk what to tell you. there is a thing called visa, and it is pretty tough to get for some country citizens. so many pro dota 2 players got rejected an american visa and that is a multi million dollar tournament. also good luck finding a sponsor that will shell out couple hundred k for that.

They dont have to fly to the US. Didn't Limit stream from the Red Bull arena in London last expansion and play through the night UK time? Echo just do that from Europe......simple.

Adapt to what starting at the same time.

Opening raids at the same time globally means changing how raid locks out work across all regions and the person you quoted is right, that forces millions of people to adjust their schedules they've had for years based around reset day.

Edit: Seriously would of put £100 on that lol, 3% wipe which was effectively a 1% wipe. Unless Echo do something absolutely insane its game over anyway.

You're seriously doing your best at jinxing the whole thing. 1% wipes don't necessarily mean anything good. They can also have a demoralizing effect especially if the next few pulls don't go well.

Honestly looking like Limit is getting it real clean minus some very minor mistakes.

Those minor mistakes are pretty much the difference between a kill and an enrage wipe.

Both guilds are in tuning mode, but Limit has the edge for certain.

sludge and stone legion so long meant that they could do a reclear and more splits pretty early into their progress, all that gear is nothing to sneeze at. If they had gotten there earlier in the week they would no doubt not be this low at this many pulls.
