Homer Simpson. I was a fan then, and I'm a fan now. Just so long as I forget that half the series exists.

I wished I was young enough to appreciate this when it first came out;
If we go by childhood I'd say Scrooge McDuck in Ducktales overall, with Hyoga from Saint Seya a close second.

Living in Eastern Europe, it took some time for us to catch up with Western cartoons but my favourite was Krtek (Little Mole):
Then it was Spider-Man.
Optimus Prime, of course.
I didn't know that, all I remember the Western shows such as Donald Duck, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes airing when I was 8 or 10 years old which is early 2000s. By that time it was already competing with shows such as Spider-Man or X-men which were probably 5 years late in my country anyway.
As a little Kid I remember watching mostly Krtek and A je to (Pat & Mat)... We even still had the Soviet cartoon No Počkaj! (Well, Just You Wait!).
I had so many ninja turtle toys as a kid. Raphael was my favorite cartoon character at the time. I had so many Raphael figures.

Spider-man? I was too innocent to prefer any one over others, tbh.
80s and 90s was a glorious time to be a kid/preteen.
