Yep, just cosmetic stuff. You can completely ignore anima if all you care about is player power, which is a great thing. But it still sucks.

In a few months there will be absolutely nothing to spend the souls on though. And right now there's way too little anima for everything. And everything you use anima for is kind of... optional and cosmetic. I really don't get these systems.
