Whenever I do a good stretch, I shake my legs like I’m having a seizure

Basically whenever I stretch, my body starts shaking like a seizure. But it feels super great. Like a fiiinnneeee stretch.

Does this happen to anyone else or am I a weirdo? Should I see a doctor about it?

I was laying down next to my umm friend, I guess and I did my good stretch and she jumped up and was like “what’s happening to you!” and that’s when I realized not everyone does this.

    Anyways let me know.

Happens when weak muscles are pushed to their limits. Feels good for some lizard brain reason. Can be used to treat trauma.

Does the shaking always stop instantly the moment you stop stretching?

When I do my short wakeup stretch I push my hands towards the sky and make myself as tall as I can be by raising my heels. I get slightly shaky for a couple seconds but I don't view it as problematic at all.

    Ditto.

I stretch out everyday before I jog. (Heat and humidity...I bite my thumb in your direction)
Anywho... It's best to double check since I don't believe this is normal. And that's regardless of how long this may have been occurring.

Not only phantom cancer but you also you have a clear case of the 'itis.

Actually, to be on topic, it is perfectly normal in people who 1.) are not limber, 2.) do not stretch regularly, and 3.) are not really flexible to have their body shake when they stretch as you describe. Different people have different parts of their body shake "seizure like" when they do a deep stretch like that. Legs, arms, even shoulders. You also can generally feel it in your core (stomach/sternum/lower back) when the shaking happens.

I know it was meant to be funny...but it's not.

As stated, go see a professional. This is not the site for that.
