NEW Warpstalker mount added to TBC classic. Potential store mount.

Granted Classic has taken off so Blizz want more money from it, but I think brand new promotion and storemounts are a bad way to go.

The mount's in the classic client, and the polygon count show it's clearly designed for classic servers.

Maybe it's the mount that comes with the new paid boost.

being datamined from classic can stilll mean that its a promotion for those who buy the boost to get this in retail.

Smells like a store mount in celebration of TBC Classic release in the future - most likely meaning a store connected to TBC Classic, or the mount will be for progression servers and or the store in honoring of TBC Classic coming out.

Maybe let's wait to see what happens first, and look up the story of Henny Penny.

I'm sure Blizz is chomping on the bit to sell gold too. Just give them enough time.

    1. we are not actually sure if this is from classic tbc, or if it is just granted from it.
    2. its likely something else, not a store mount, there is NOTHING AT ALL that even hints at it being a store mount, yet you right away go "potentinal storte mount, blizzard wants to make more money!"
    3. a promotion is not a bad way to go.

"Polygon count clearly shows its designed for classic servers"

Literally the "new" pet being added to wow as the charity event, live not classic...

its low poly count could literally just be a reference to how its from classic.

at first it looked like high poly count, but closer look it looks like it would blend well into TBC..........

Let's see what they will do with it. Because it appeared in Classic client it is safe to say that this is NOT a retail (Shadowlands) mount.

It would suck if this was a store mount. In TBC ground mounts are not yet totally trivialized so it would be lame to have paid mounts. Could be some promotion mount but I've got no idea what that could be because TBC is included in the sub for no additional cost.

Could it be some sort of bundle? 1 month of game time + a mount. I don't know.

Either way this is a new mount not original to TBC and I don't like it. I'm fine with the #somechanges but this is no longer some changes it is some additions and it just opens a whole new can of worms.

But no need for pitchforks yet folks. We don't know the whole story yet.

This could be designated for the Chinese version, as they already have wow tokens in classic. Adding this into classic TBC would be so wierd, and anyone that bought it would be ridiculed by the playerbase.

I don´t think so. The "playerbase" stating that blizz is pure evil by selling token, mounts and stuff are a fading minority i think.

AM i literally the only player on classic that supports the idea of adding new -content- to the game? I'm seeing comments "dont add this, dont add that" well, i can understand not wanting the dungeon finder.. But a new mount thats obtainable ingame and keeps to the fantasy of the expansion? That seems fine to me? ofcourse there is the chance its a store mount (unlikely if its for tbc) but still... going the route of lets say "Classic+" where they continue developement on an expansion and give us some of the scrapped content and maybe some new ideas for the expansion they've gotten, would be great?

Oh no, a cosmetic mount that makes no difference what so ever. World is ending!

Yes, yes you are. Mount scarcity is a major thing in tbc so it make you go out and actually farm cool mounts, and no just a purchase.

I think the issue is that paid mounts would be against the original TBC design philosophy where you'd have to obtain stuff by actually playing the game not flashing out your credit card. (yes TCG items were a thing but that is still different than just buying the items straight from a store)

Looks great! Hopefully it's for BC Classic. There haven't been many shop mounts I was willing to buy, but this is definitely one.
