Class tuning changes incoming, big nerfs to Paladins, Mages and Warriors
Taking the fight to the Jailer, the covenants are again reunited. This will allow players to unlock all covenant abilities for their class permanently by completing respective covenant campaigns.
Players can now switch allegiance between covenants, without losing any progress. This includes Renown, covenant ability unlocks, soul binds, and cosmetics. The alliance between Azeroth and the afterlife is taking the threat of the Jailer seriously, making sure that all powers and efforts can be mobilized, to demonstrate unity and power stepping into the Maw.
PvP talents have been entirely reworked. Many passive abilities have been culled, and the roster has been expanded by active abilities inspired by past PvP talent tress, artifact powers and azerite traits - the goal is to create more variance in individual play styles within a single spec, opening up variety within comps, Arena and BGs
Item level of PvP gear will now be capped to bracket cutoffs, as follows:
PvP Gear can now be upgraded with a small amount of Honor once to gain 3 ilvl, only within a respective ilvl bracket to even out power-gaps
PvP Gear can now be upgraded with a small amount of Conquest once to gain 6 ilvl, only within a respective ilvl bracket to catch up to bracket cutoff and level out power-gaps
