General Rules

Spoiler: 

This will be a basic game. Most players will be vanilla town/goons. There will be some basic powers like cop, doc, godfather, etc but don't expect to have a night action. This game should be primarily solved by talking as town and using your judgment on posts and interactions.

All roles are based on joke shop items (https://www.gagworks.com/).

Voting:

During the day phase, each player can place their vote on any player of choice. To do so, simply put the following in bold:

vote: Kryllian

You can change your vote as many times you want, and you can remove your vote using

unvote

Unvoting is required or I will not count you changing your vote!

You can also vote for a no-lynch. This works like this.

vote: no-lynch

If "no-lynch" is the winning option, then no player will be lynched that day phase.

Lynching:

Days will have a fixed 48 hour deadline (give or take depending on early day/night ending). Modified Majority is in effect so there should be a lynch most days. If no one reaches a full majority of all players but has a majority of the votes cast they will be lynched. In the event of a tie the person who reaches majority first will be lynched.

The Story So far....

Kryllian loved his joke shop. It had been a dream as long as he could remember to own one. As a kid while others were using their allowance to buy candy or pop quarters into a video arcade he was practicing magic trick or playing pranks on his parents.

Now that he was an adult, he looked forward to work every day. There was something about the way someone giggled when they sat on the whoopie cushions that brought out the child in him. He loved being able to awe both parents and children with some simple slight of hand. But like anything fun there were always those who abused the simple pleasures of life and took pranks to a dark place.

One night while closing up his shop he though he heard a noise behind him.

"Who's there?" he called out.

He was sure he had locked the doors before doing his nightly register count. The shadows seemed to move around him and he though he heard giggling in the corner where the clown dolls were kept. Suddenly he felt a breath on his neck. Spinning around, he saw it. His face twisted in terror.

"You? No please don't...." he cried out.

But those would be the last words he would say. In the morning he would be found by his employees. Beaten to death with a talking fish and stabbed though the heart with a disappearing ink pen.

Yeah. After she nearly hammered me two games ago, and then after being a reacitonary who executed a doc/knight when there was still several hours in the day left and it wasn't clear who was going to be the popular option for execution.

I don't know, but it popped up in my suggestions on Youtube...

Is it me, or did the Youtube search/recommended/suggestion algorithm become funky over the last 2-3 years? It used to recommend stuff actually related to my tastes and helped me discover new content creators, but nowadays it just recommends random stuff I have absolutely no interest in. I only find out about new content creators that align with my tastes via word of mouth (either someone I follow talks about another channel, or someone in the comments or on a forum or a blog mentions another channel).
