Countries have obligations before their citizens. Israel is probably THE best example of that.
Why the hell should Israel risk it's soldiers lives? WTF? I cannot believe someone can write something so out of touch with, well,
everything.
That's literally what soldiers sign up for. I didn't have a long time in the forces, due to injury, but that's certainly what my oath of service was about. Soldiers serve, to risk their lives to protect civilians.
I just don't value citizens of one country higher than another country, because that's how war crimes and ethnic cleansing get justified.
Israel is already hampering itself right now from military viewpoint (which would be to level Gaza to the ground
until they stop firing and surrender fully).
"We could be committing SO MANY MORE war crimes, ignore the war crimes we commit" is not an argument.
Bullshit? This is from OCHA homepage, btw:
Kinda lacking information about the sources... There is a reason I wrote "IIRC". I will also remind you that in 2014 UN institutions in Gaza had rockets hidden in them.
Yes, bullshit. Because it's clearly stated on the page I linked to, which you clearly never bothered to even check;
What is the source of the data?
Information about occupation and conflict-related casualties is regularly collected by OCHA field staff and entered into OCHA’s Protection of Civilians database, following review and verification. As a rule, for an incident to be entered into the database it needs to be validated by at least two independent and reliable sources. Exceptions to this rule include incidents resulting in Israeli injuries, where information is typically based on media reports.
Multiple independent and reliable sources required.
Ah, right, Endus, one more thing. Start fucking asking the same from Arab countries as you do from Israel. Oh, right.
I do. Which you'd know, if you paid any attention to my earlier posts in the thread. Kudos on attacking a straw man in your own head rather than what I actually said.

Did not in any way belittle the Holocaust.
Just unwilling to let other atrocities slide if they don't amount to the same death toll yet, precisely because I do not ever want to see anything on the scale of the Holocaust ever happen again.
Hand-waving ethnic cleansing and civilian deaths because "it's not as many as died in the Holocaust", that is belittling the Holocaust, as if it were just the numbers of dead that were at issue there.
Americans have fucked up more people in the Middle East in the past two decades than Israelis did in Palestine. If you seriously get your emotional freak on over this, I think you need to reevaluate your position.
Pretty sure if you dig through my back history of posts, you'll find plenty where I condemn the modern state of the Middle East to British (originally), American (post-WWII to today), and Russian (same) meddling. I don't disagree that Americans have done a lot of super shitty things in the Middle East, and I condemn those too. Being buddy-buddy with Saudi Arabia is a big one.
