Just because you consent to one thing does not mean you consent to the possible outcomes of said thing.
It would be like "you consented to go hunting, therefore you consented to being shot while hunting."
If you go hunting with someone, you understand the risk is that you could be shot by the other person on accident (even potentially on purpose), but no one who blame a person who sued in this case for damages just because "They consented to go hunting."
Peace is a lie. There is only passion. Through passion I gain strength. Through strength I gain power.
Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The Force shall set me free.

The "pro-life" movement has never been about anything more than controlling and dominating women. The neo-con religious right that pushes the anti-women (aka "pro-life") rhetoric is so inconsistent regarding "life" it's laughable.
That being said, because of Trump/McConnell we'll see Roe fall in the next couple of years, leaving it up to state's rights to grant or ban abortion. Given the red-state ratio in the United States, we should therefore expect draconian laws going into force limiting or outright banning abortion in all forms, including rape/incest/health-of-the-mother - the list goes on.
At that point the United States essentially becomes a faux failed state. No healthcare, no women's rights, crushing debt for education - the only thing keeping us afloat and above will be the dream we once had and our military.
This has never been more true than now:
And it's just going to get worse. We still have Trump wanting to run in 2024 and we'll probably lose the House and Senate in 2022.
Solugen Inc. plans to double its R&D team over the next two years, with the company eyeing Massachusetts and California for the new facility because of Texas anti-abortion law.
Solugen Inc., a Texas chemicals company, said it plans to open a new research and development facility outside of the state because its social policies are making it difficult to recruit employees.
Likely won't be the last.
