Would you support a Classic+ Fresh Server?

Classic+ Fresh would mean everyone starts at level 1 and things are added as additional / new content in the vanilla wow client. More / changed raids, more / changed dungeons. Game mechanics added / altered. New zones, new lore, new quests etc. Game / class balance changes. More QoL things like AoE looting, larger stack sizes, etc.

Why would they make a new path from there? Classic is mostly dead anyway, other than 'new' TBC servers.

I didn't ask if they would or not, i asked if you / other people would support a server like that.

And if you are talking about Classic (vanilla) and not Classic (TBC), then you'd be right, its mostly dead, which is why a classic+ fresh server with changes has been hinted at by Blizzard (they sent a poll out asking players about this exact topic).

I kinda see them potentially doing a Diablo like Season structure for classic. Seeing as how a good chunk of the classic population seems to enjoy the Speedrun mindset (much to this sites rage) why not throw a curve ball every so often

No. Wow classic is good because it was made by old Blizzard in the end of the 90s/early 2000s. Modern blizzard would fuck it up completely.

Nope. The problem is not the game but the players imo. So it is beyond saving. Nothing Blizz can do about it beside.

They would need to make awful retail changes to force out players metaslave / exploiting / cheating behaviour. Cross realm automated dungeon finder / LFR, warmode, xp multiplier by at least 5, bot monitoring and ban, permaban of boosters (gold or otherwise), temporary ban of boostees, implement premade vs premade queue etc etc.

No, we had a lot of fun back in 2019 and 2020 and we are sorry for those who missed the boat, but that fresh won't be replicated the way it was Classic at launch. I'm really looking forward to Wrath, Cata and MoP.

Those are called expansions (excepting everyone starting at 1). WoWs had a few of those. I enjoy WoW so I would be in favour of more of them. Making an expansion which takes place directly after Vanilla would be odd, as we had one already (TBC), but I wouldn't be against it as an idea ipse facto.

They already did all of that, and keep adding. 8 expansions worth of it so far.

If what you said is true , i would rather this be more graphic engine changed , i would like it to be that "There are universes and each has azeroth" so this is another timeline that has different story in azeroth like for example in this version thrall is stupid and Garrosh is not the prideful person in our azeroth , for example anduin died instead of varian and varian transformed into the angriest dude in earth , just giving thoughts you know what i mean ?

i dont want it to be like a same game same graphics same same . there has to be connection

They have LITERALLY recently put out polls about classic fresh servers. In the poll was the question about classic fresh and classic+ fresh. Just like the poll for TBC it means they are considering it. Also classic fresh regular is confirmed coming soon.

Classic+ with its own team could definitely work by keeping its original design philosophy in mind. Allow the players to vote for content that they would like to see similiar to how OSRS operates. Make changes that will guaranteed make the game better like putting a stop to the world buff meta by not making it work inside raids. Bosses need to be made harder with at least a few new abilities and gameplay needs to be improved where every spec is viable. This can all be done without turning the game into retail.

Thats the reason im asking the mmo-champ community if they would support a classic+ fresh server. It literally wouldn't hurt them if they added a server like I described, it would only give them more content to do if they choose to play on that type of server.

Classic vanilla was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed progressing and playing on that server, so now I wouldn't mind a classic server with additions.
