Gotta say, it's pretty fuckin' weird seeing the "no true communism" argument being actually levied against me, when people spent years accusing me (falsely) of using it.

By this argument, no communist nation has ever existed, and thus, no one can say that communism has "failed". Is that the path you want to go down, or are you holding double standards?

You really have an issue with overreaction but yeah, there has never been true communism, ever, since it is impossible due to human nature, therefore, commies have always lived in a fantasy world. PRC has authoritarian, borderline dictatorial goverment, same as was/is case for basically all other "communist" nations, thus no commie achievements.
No true communism is as much meme as it is reality.

Morality is very much entirely subjective. They can be universally agreed upon like being against basic murder, but there is no objective formula to dictate what is moral or immoral.

That's because after Mao they embraced the west and became communist in name only, it was their Americanization that lead to their success. Back in the day there was a big argument about it between China and Albania (not a big name now but they had been the western communist nation that brought the PoC into global prominence back when the US/EU/etc all favoured Taiwan as the legit China) over China basically abandoning "proper" communism as the USSR had done previously.

China today still claims to be communist but in reality they're about as genuine about it as the Reich was about being socialist :P
