DT was BiS for rogues even in Black Temple.... That's a T4 item, being BiS in T6 content.
Naturally, it will go to Guild master, even if he cannot use it.

Also, proc effects for trinkets and enchants didn't work for (cats/bears) druids until v2.4, and AFAIK there is no word on which patch it will run on, so it probably won't even work for Druids.

Physical damage classes as, IIRC, the AP boost is only to that damage.

I actually had both it and the one with that blue wave icon(which I cannot remember the name of) on my BM hunter back then and in retrospect I will never understand why the raid leader gave both to me(I was not a good player back then). I still have them in my bank as a sort of weird memory.

So I have to ask, is it good for hunters?

With the overall meta shift of dps an extra troll racial for your tank every pull is worth the loss of the alternative tanking trinkets.

It should go to your bmhunters. They perform a lot better out of the box then any other physical class.

I was in a pug raid on my enhance shaman, rolled, and the rogue raid leader actually gave it to me. I have seen that thing ninjad sooooo many times, many people i played with at the time refused to be in a raid with a masterlooter who could benifit from DST, because they had it ninjad so many times.

Considering you're likely going to have 0 Rogues, 1 Ret, and 1 DPS Warrior in an optimal raid... probably the DPS Warrior or the Ret.

I don't think people realize how bad Rogues are without Glaives.

Could also go to Hunters, but I don't think DST is all that great compared to Madness/Tsunami. I haven't seen any recent TBC sims comparing trinkets though.

Also what's gonna happen is a few weeks into TBC those classes will do Gruul in "DST res" pugs/splits. The item is pretty rare.
