In the world Foxxi is legit town(I wasn't thinking of a Godfather for some reason), I couldn't see how anyone else was red mafia. And at the time, I didn't realize there was a backup option, as I assumed the starting scum had their own important roles. So from my perspective, dead mafia poisoner and a poison happening meant the mafia's primary way of killing was poisons, so it would make sense that the final scum would lie about having a poison heal knowing that they'll eventually kill someone with poison again.

I mean, weird logic or not, it technically got me to the right conclusion
