Why did blizz remove all the different runes death knights had?

There used to be frost, plague and blood, now there's only death.

Because, especially after certain changes it was never needed...players would do the same rotations and they'd turn into death runes anyways

They were pointless past the first 6 secs of most fights since your Abilties turned them into Death Runes anyway.
