    Hello everyone.

    We’ve recently deployed a hotfix that adjusts the difficulty of a several dungeon encounters. Here are the changes:

    • Necrotic Wake
      • Nalthor the Rimebinder
        • Icebound Aegis absorb reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.
    • Sanguine Depths
      • Executor Tarvold
        • Castigate damage reduced by 20%.
      • Grand Proctor Beryllia
        • Agonize damage reduced by 20%.
        • Fixed an issue causing some abilities to scale with the Fortified affix instead of the Tyrannical affix.
    • Spires of Ascension
      • Astronos, Lakesis, and Klotos
        • Health reduced by 20%.
        • Aura of Intimidation damage reduced by 20%.
    • Theater of Pain
      • Xav the Unfallen
        • Seismic Leap damage reduced by 10%.

    Nice. They should skim So'leah's HP a bit too, imo. That fight takes fucking forever and has multiple phases where you just have to walk around with arrows.

    Bizarre to do this so late into the expansion, but as a healer main I won't complain about the SD nerfs, that's for sure.

    While i find it odd that they're only doing this now.. I sure dont mind. Bosses are taking way too long on tyrannical as is...

    That seismic leap needed 20-30% decrease in dmg. 10% is NOT enough. It's still very dangerous..

    However, I don't want to sound unappreciative. The other nerfs were needed and I say thank you for that.

    That seismic leap on 24-25 keys and up.. the 10% is not noticeable or maybe the hotfix has just been implemented and was not on earlier today?

    Seems kind of pointless to keep nerfing this when it’s in a finite scaling system.

    The same problem will just come up again and again and again.

    Yes, but on higher key levels than before.

    it kinda feels like this is for the upcoming season 4.

    they usually increase the difficulty between seasons to match the new ilvl cap, but with s4 "only" bringing fated gear, i wonder how much they will increase it, if at all.
    The above mentioned remarks, ideas and notions are simply my thought on this topic. I do not wish to aggravate, denounce or criticize anyone who, for whatever reason, may disagree.

    I mean, welcome changes.
    It's a little curious that starting with 9.2.5 they start tuning SL dungeons, so late in an expansion with an announced EOL for those dungeons in the rather forseeable future, the tuning should have been done over a year ago. But whatever...

    Just let mythic+ become easy as when we had corruption in BFA. I wanna do freehold +15 in pugs. Then I might touch mythic+.

    Those dungeons won't be available during M+ Season 4 buddy.

    That'd be true if it was a simple all around nerf but this is for mechanics that you can't outplay and bottleneck too hard or that are annoying.

    Ok.

    But then they come back up 1-2 key levels later.

    Because of infinite scaling.
