Greetings Champions.

Shadowlands Season 3 is coming to a close, and our experimental Season 4 will begin with the weekly reset the week of August 2.

Here’s what to expect with the Season 3 end:

Shadowlands Season 3: PvP

• The current season of Shadowlands PvP content will end at 10:00 p.m. the night before maintenance in each region (August 1 at 10:00 p.m. PDT for North America realms / 2 August at 22:00 CEST for European realms).
• With the season’s end, it will no longer be possible to earn PvP seasonal rewards, titles, or Shadowlands Season 3 rankings.

Shadowlands Season 3: Mythic+

• The current season of Mythic+ content will end with the start of regional maintenance on August 2. With the season’s end, ratings that qualify for the 0.1% “Cryptic Hero” title and achievement will be recorded.
• The “Cryptic Hero” title will be rewarded during the following weeks after the season ends, so be to wait to change factions until after you have received the title.

According to Blizzard, at the very most ~4 months since DF is out by EOY.

Blizzard said shorter than previous seasons. Assuming the minimum of 12 weeks (because there are 12 affix combo rotations for M+) that puts Season 4 ending on/around October 25th.

Figure in a 2~4 weeks for prepatch would tentatively put a DF launch in early/mid Nov which means maybe first raid of DF by mid Dec?

Granted Blizzard could allow Season 4 to run up to 17 weeks which would put DF launch at end of Dec (that's with a 4 week prepatch)

Hall of Fame is almost full but August 2nd is way to long to wait. It should have been 2 to 3 weeks at most.

Announcing that and removing cutting edge with less than 400 guilds that killed Jailer (an usual CE is 1500-2000 guilds for the record) is just silly.

They've also announced heavy nerfs to the raid so people can get CE in the next month, just invalidating people's progress and adding salt to the injury to guilds that struggle more with being able to raid than the difficulty.

Why not just keep CE available until dragonflight's prepatch? It's not like the bit of ilvl from the new fated raids is gonna be a big power gain compared to some things we've seen in the past like the legendary ring getting power in wod, the trinkets in legion and the corruptions in bfa, when cutting edge was still available.

Blizzard is just spitting on their semi-hardcore playerbase right now.

Assuming the same kind of ilv increases, you're looking at a 26 ilv increase for dungeons (normal, heroic, M+)

Difficulty	Season 3	Season 4
Normal:	Item Level 236 =>	Item Level 262
Heroic:	Item Level 249 =>	Item Level 275
Mythic:	Item Level 262 (Valor Upgrade Level: 1/12) =>	Item Level 288 (Valor Upgrade Level: 1/12)

12/12 Valor upgrade would go from 272 => 298
Great Vault M+ max would go from 278 => 304

This would be inline with the Fated raid loot.

How are you semi-hardcore, if you still can't clear it after all the nerfs.

People that wanted to get CE already got it. People that still don't have it are probably waiting for a boost from ultra-geared people. I think it's enough until August for people that don't have it yet to get it.

Also the new ilvl is going to be 300+ so that would be a very big jump from 277-280. It would make Mythic Jailer a joke.
