yeh its kinda sad, this sort of metaism has made me lose interest in wow competitive and esports game play .

So, when can we give this up and funnel the money into something the MAJORITY of the playerbase actually care about?

That is the problem with PvE competition in known content. The entire thing is practices and figured out. Something is 'best' and almost everyone will run said best thing.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

How is this getting bent over? Yesterday for example was 19:00 to 23:00, pretty much perfect hours for EU to follow and then afterwards either go to sleep or go into town for some beers :P

As being from EU myself i like E-sports starting at like 19:00 or 20:00 more than in the morning or midday.

I realize this is irrelevant, borderline necro at this point, but why is prime time getting bent over? You’d prefer slacking @work and then go get wasted Friday night/sit on couch and waste away the entire weekend instead of cracking open a cold one in the evening and watching your favorite esport (lol) after doing something productive during the day?

Problem isn't necessarily this tournament but previously because it started so late you'd be pushing 1 am European time by the time it finished.
