Did they finish the original classic racial storylines?

I heard that initially, all those race storylines were going to be completed in later elvesl leading up to 60, but they never did in classic..

If you recall, no one gets completion - however over time those threads have pretty much been tied up. Was anyone left out? Even amongst the newer races? Maybe Worgen still haven't had their conclusion.
