I suppose the prepatch PTR will end at mid October or almost November, so I would vote for end of November, or start of December for the expansion. But I'm surprised that we're like two-three months more or less before the release and we still don't know an actual date of release.

Oct 25th sounds even more likely after yesterday. They said they willl turn on all fated raids on pre-patch, would be strange to have rotation uncomplete, so 12 weeks and 4 cycles for season 4 would fit.

Must have missed the information they were time limited when they got announced, do you happen to have a link?

And there are still FOS obtainable in-game so that's not necessarily proof of intention. Blizzard have been inconsistent enough just making assumptions isn't good enough any more -they need to outright clarify how things are going to work well in advance. These Fated rewards are a good example, the slimecat was assumed to be LFR-able for months before the season finally went live and they changed the achievements to be 'normal or higher' a day or two earlier. They had *months* to tell people on the forums it would require normal or higher and they didn't.

Now, as far as I can tell, they haven't said anything about whether the rewards would be obtainable post-Shadowlands until this announcement. I don't recall seeing anything about Fated raids disappearing after Season 4 is over, the schedule just says the rotation will continue until "they all become permanent". I could well be wrong, though, but as I said, I'd like to see a blue post saying as much - 'common sense' or 'history' aren't equivalent to confirmation with their track record.

No. At least i don't. I got enough of those too, so... I think Blizzard is fucking stupid to take out stuff like this. People joined 6+ years after WotLK and stuff like the black Protodrake and what have you are now just randomly gone. Its fucking mounts. Its shouldnt be locked out from people. Same for all the shitty Arena-Sets and what not.

They tried to make it so for example when you reached 2100 rating in a season you would get a token to buy a ranked pvp set from previous seasons.

Aha. So pretty much "I WON IT AND NOBODY ELSE SHOULD"-Garbage... I don't want to insult PVPers, since i know not remotely all of them are like that. I have some of those Sets myself, even tho its been a while... ...but thats kind of what i expect from people who believe playing Flavor-of-the-month for cheap, unearned wins and satisfaction should be hold in such high regard... Especially as I find it hilarious to even think high arena ratings with a "current meta" lineup are even one quarter of the effort required that maintaining and successfully running a lasting High-End PVE-Raid is. In short; Im not surprised that cheesefest party screeched when someone entertained taking their entitlement down a notch.
