So pvp and raiding all get cool dragon skins and we get this ugly underwhelming thing that looks like a rep vendor mount in my opinion. Makes zero sense in a flying expansion. It doesn't fly and the running animation is totally gimped, check the video. We won't even be using it 99% of tbe time with dragon riding.

This is a joke. Makes me not care about KSM as much. And then to get 3 recolors of this? No thanks. Talk about rushed. This does not seem worthy of completing all 18s to get KSM. It should at least be a flying mount. Here is a video of it. Its literally a reskin of a kodo with bad animation.

Lol I noticed how bad the running animation was on the beta earlier, looks like it's humping the damn floor. This definitely beats kodos as worst mount animation for me

Reskinned Kodo and it's meh. Also, if past m+ seasons were any indication, it'll just be that mount, every season, with a different color.

Ground mount. In a Dragon Flying expansion. Only blizzard can come up with absurdity of this level.

Dont get me wrong, it looks kinda cool. But raiders and pvpers will get to flex on their dragon mount skins while we never really going to use this.

Just awful. Just like most of the M+ changes this expac.

That mount looks pretty terrible, not gonna lie.
At least the red deathwalker element thingy looks nice, even with the weird "crown" thingy.

But i suppose it serves its purpose: It's special, for special people.
And thankfully that spares us another mount being locked after timed achievements.

KSM and similar achivements should not reward any mounts whatsoever anyways or at the very best a simple recolour of what can be gotten somewhere else anyways.

Getting a limited time achivement, getting all that good gear and the fun you had along the way should be the only real rewards for this type of content. And maybe something small (like that recoloured mount that exists elsewhere too or instance portals for M+).

Having unique mounts as an incentive to do something like KSM is ridiculous. It will just piss off many people who don't really like M+, but want the mount and even some will feel forced to do this content (because it is time limited) and for people who enjoy M+ already, a mount reward will at best feel like a nice bonus or at worst they won't care about this reward at all.

And all in all, for "flexing" (which is cringe af, but whatever) these mounts don't work regardless, because on Day 1 of a season you'll see people running with KSM mounts who never do M+, but paid money for wow tokens and purchased a carry run for gold (1.5-2mio gold which is like 100-120€). Not having mounts locked behind this will most likely also result in less people buying these carries.

I really like the appearance of it. The running animation does look pretty bad though. Watching the animations, it seems to be based off of bear mounts/animations, which is probably why it runs as wonky as it does with the longer neck and the added tail. The walking animation seems fine.

I agree that I’d rather they would have had it be a flying mount, or even just more customizations for existing Dragonriding mounts. I even posted in my guild Disc something like “trust Blizz to give a ground mount in an xpac with flight from the start.” That said, keep in mind that instanced content usually has places you can mount and not fly, which are decent enough spots to break this out.

That running animation is beyond bad, lets hope it's a placeholder.

In my opinion m+ should get 2 mounts/season like pvp. One at 15 that later becomes a "saddle" that you can grind, and 1 a bit higher up like 20 or 25 (key level) like the glad mount. And some recolor variant of armor, possibly divvied up over the different key levels with some elite enchant or something at higher key levels. More rewards are always welcome, spread out it gives incentive for people to try it out as well, as it is now low keys and high keys both feel pretty unrewarding.

I'd rather have a dragonriding customization instead of this ... thing. Since they've been able to do this for the Mythic Mount who has a different model, maybe they can do the same with another elemental protodrake ?
