    Spiteful Shade Speed

Doing keys this week (over 10 keys with different comps so far), it felt like the shades were moving faster. I haven't seen this posted anywhere which made me thing I'm wrong, but I can't shake the feeling that something is different this week than past.

Yea the thing that's different is you played with people who slowed them before and now you aren't. Doesn't take some random conspiracy theory about a change to figure out what the issue is here.

Depends on when you were playing.

If you played a lot in S2 of Shadowlands when Frost Mage was meta with automatic slows, then yea they'll feel fast. If you're not playing a rogue with slow poison in your comp they'll also feel fast.

they haven't gotten faster, you're probably just not playing with a rogue who has bothered to take slow poison or a frost mage.

It's possible that the shades are moving faster this week in the keys. It's not uncommon for Blizzard to make adjustments to dungeon mechanics or enemy behavior. If you feel like something is different, it's worth keeping an eye out for any official announcements or updates from Blizzard. Additionally, you could ask other players if they've noticed any changes in the shades' movement speed during their runs.
