Hmm, also looking at some of the specific talents, has 'Mend Pet' been nerfed?

If not, then why bother with this pet talent?

Lick Your Wounds* 1/1 for channeled 3 minute CD where pet heals itself for 25% of max health over 10 seconds (requires 1/1 Heart of the Phoenix). Req. 12 points in Ferocity Tree

A 10 sec channelled spell where the pet only heals itself to 25%? Mend pet is better than that and it's not channelled.

Channeled, 750 Mana, 45 yd range

Also, it says that "Your pet heals yourself", which does point towards a self-heal. The channeled just makes it not usable in solo-play

Instant cast, 10 sec cooldown for an effect that lasts 30 secs? Ok, so it's a bit of a focus hogger, but still, 5% extra attack power pretty much spammed constantly?

25% AP for 60 focus every <30sec. Have you seen the amount of AP a pet has? He mostly lives on white damage I'm afraid :s
