Yes but you will notice that they keep upping the % of AP given by savage roar.
It's now up to 40%, because they made ferals do less damage then in TBC from changing their agi scaling and now they are trying to make their damage scale competitively by dumping the biggest self buff going on them.
Most classes have things weaker then this on a 3 min cooldown but the feral core makeup scales that badly they need this up at all times.

Re: Feral Druids - Lets have a serious discussion

Wow, Druids cry more than Paladins do...

Right now the Druid off-tank/MT talent builds (present and WotLK), the only one you will be specced as for raiding (being only there as an offtank/MT and not taken for DPS, more like a benefit to single tank fights), are:

    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxhGsfboeuioEx0z
    http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?drui...00000000000000

Your initial suggestions are too overpowered and are missing some key points.

Feral Druids are designed through talents to be melee oriented entirely. You don't wear spellpower gear as a Feral Druid. Wanting immense stat conversion, akin to Heart of the Wild, is entirely out of the question and would only be a remote fantasy of someone wanting to have a Chimera form. In fact, let's do that:

    Chimera Form
Requires 60 points in Feral talents
    22% of base mana
    Instant Cast
Shapeshift into Chimera Form. While in this form the armor contribution from items is increased by 400%, Stamina by 25%, and the mana cost of your healing over time spells is reduced by 20% while all party members within 45 yards have their spell and physical critical strike chance increased by 5% and healing received increased by 25% of your total Spirit. Spell critical strikes in this form have a chance to instantly regenerate 2% of your total mana and physical critical strikes in this form have a chance to instantly regenerate 2% of your total health. The Chimera can cast Balance and Restoration and utilize Cat Form and Bear Form and Dire Bear Form spells and abilities while shapeshifted.
The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.

There's what you wanted. It'll be in the Feral tree next expansion and will totally make any sort of hybrid spec obsolete in its implementation.

Did I mention you'll have a snake for a tail? That's just downright cool.

Re: Feral Druids - Lets have a serious discussion

Hm quite good suggestion there, but you did not mention the upcoming itemization change.
    Example Item:
    Chest
    700 Armor
    50 Str
    50 Agi
    50 Spi
    50 Stam
    50 Int
    9 Gem-Slots
    100 Spellpower

    Did I forget anything?

Re: Feral Druids - Lets have a serious discussion

    Sarcasm emote?

There would be no such items in WotLK.

Sure, feral druids are melee oriented then still, weapon except for stat means nothing, while all other melee classes first look, how much pure damage they gain.

Really, don't fud with "this suggestion is OP", as it cannot be experienced in the game. I also find it very irritating and extremely annoying that some classes are allowed to be OP in WotLK beta (pointing to current ret Paladins and Death Knight), while feral druid must be "all the way down" without even a chance to test supposed OP suggestions. Or even to make a suggestion to be "little OP" in beta.

Everywhere I hear, "No way, one class must be a fodder"

Prime rule of MMO games. Fodders are mobs and npcs, player classes (all specs) should BE equal in terms of performance if you want PvP to be a fair game for everybody.

Re: Feral Druids - Lets have a serious discussion

Actually, the 0 mana cost on shapeshift, is a cool idea. If you think about it, ferals beneift most from shapeshifting.
Resto will be stuck in tree form (armor boost, no more speed penalty, they can cast everything, they can't have bear charge, so they dont need bear form shift).
Balance, they some quite nice buffs while in Moonkin form, they don't need any other form neither to tank, maybe runaway, but really, it's better to stay in Moonkin and CC rather than shapeshift run.
Ferals, bear/cat tanking/dpsing, they need to toss few heals or CC, so they need to shift forms. HOWEVER, there is absolutely 0 int on feral gear right now (ofc this could change). So at the moment, shifting is something really costly. Not to mention the talent to reduce the mana cost is in the resto tree. Yes, the same tree that has a talent to increase feral dps by 10% flat.
    My 2 cents.

Wow. You can actually fit Master Shapeshifter into a feral build? Congratulations. I sure as hell can't. With the even more bloated feral tree in WotLK, 11 points to reach OoC in Resto is about all I can spare (building mainly for bear and making some kitty sacrifices).

There are now (in beta) too many Feral talents in the Resto tree for a Feral build to spec into them.

Re: Feral Druids - Lets have a serious discussion

Furor should be made 2 points natural shifter dropped to tier 1 master shifter tier 2.
many other talents have been altered in such a way like winters chill and empowered frostbolt/fireball.
Not only does this make for points in feral but moonkin as well.
You might say emp frostbolt/fireball and winters chill are deeper frost but these talents are essentially 50 odd points into feral and balance spec.
