What do you do when you run across impossible to kill Healers?

Whenever i crit 10 times in a row on resto druid and can't kill her (99% of resto's are sad nerds with no GF irl who made nelf female) i exit wow, go outside... walk a bit and find a kitty and beat the fucking shit out of it and trow it in a bush.

When i am calm i go back home.

I killed a resto druid solo in like 5 seconds at the beginning of a 3v3 match as a ret pala, best day ever.
With impossible healers try to distract them and change to nuke another target.
If that don't work try alchohol.

you can't kill them, they cant kill you....balanced imo.

(if all else fails, go respec a real damage spec from your 40%-of-potential pvp specs and the healers should go down in half the time - remember though, its all about the tradeoff - with increased damage, your survivability goes down (and vice versa))

and 1-1 situations i yust try to get a stunn and hamstring on them and run.
why?
cus its imposible to kill them!!! atleast before ur dead urself.

druids- they NEVER go omm. and if they do? they will run, drink=monfire dead me
shammys- well they newer go omm wither OMG at the water sheild= totem dead me

It really is GG. On my sp alt s2 geared we kind a took fun duel in durotar against resto druid and even when he did let me manaburn him freely i went oom before he did...

Whether you know it or not but Healer power went up considerably in TBC. Mainly due to Resilience, but also Arena based balancing that generally features 1-2 healers and twice the DPS for every team. Occasionally, and sometimes more often than occasionally you run into these impossible to kill healers in BG's. You can be all over them, even multiples of you, and you just cannot get they're health low. They tend to dominate BG matches when they are in them by keeping everyone around them up, and literally taking 4-5 players to bring down. If its a resto Druid type forget about it because he will outrun your zerg and survive. I've even seen a few on my faction just stand there at a EOTS point that the other faction is guarding, and 3 of them all game can't kill him to the point they just let him stand there after so long. More than a few times btw. Its almost funny if i didn't go through the same things at times :P

I don't feel more stupid than i feel when i'm attacking these type of Healers. On both my Mage and Rogue, sometimes its almost like i'm tickling them. Just so you know i generally lead BG charts in about 80% of them i enter with both. Thats not to brag or say they mean a whole lot, but it does show that i feel pretty op'd sometimes vs the masses of players.

But man, the occasional overpowered Healers....what to do? Stand there like an idiot beating on something who's damage mitigation and hots are to the point hes laughing at you, or i'm going OOM spamming him with everything i have(if i'm on my Mage). Sometimes it makes you feel better though when that zerg of yours is there, and hes alone, to watch him go down slowly when 4-5 people are throwing everything they have at him.

So how do you play these situations? Do you keep playing and trying to kill him even if hes /laughing at you? And your dps can't get him anywhere below 60%? Or do you just stop and stand there. I've seen some dps do this where they just stop playing and just give up.

So are you Rudy? the underdog that will always try no matter how stupid he may look trying at times? Or the quitter, that doesn't want to look stupid and /laughed at because you don't have the gear or zerg around you to make him even sweat?

Last time i checked nobody here was forced to play WoW.

Theres no point for me discussing about WoW, i just can't understand why u keep trolling for a thing that u don't like anymore. It's like a statement: "I have no life, my life is to troll wow until bed time".

As a mage when you run across a healer that is hotting themselves up and buffing, you "can" sit there and spam spellsteal while 4 others beat him down, that is far more useful that trying to burn him down. Also standing ready to counterspell in real casts and frost nova to stop moving, being fire and Flame Breath works wonders.

You can't dps down a druid/disc priest, you gotta get their buffs first. The same thing that applies to some PVE content, the bosses become ridiculous when they buff themselves, but if you remove it, it's back to a more controlable setting.

Stuns, Interrupts, and Shatter combos are your only real hope against healers. As a prot warrior, I spend a good deal of my time in BGs tracking down the offensing healer and bash/pummel or intercept every heal I can, and sometimes it still does no good because resto druid have instant hots.

What do we do? We /qq to the devs and find a rogue to laugh at.

This thread is full of warriors, rogues and mages who do nothing but duel and enter Battlegrounds I'm guessing.

As a holy paladin, the least represented class in arenas, I find it quite disturbing that you consider "healers" in general overpowered, when what you really mean is, DRUIDS.

It's quite easy to beat a holy paladin. You silence them at the right moment. A mage should have no problems at ALL against a paladin healer, warriors and rogues having trouble is a little more understandable, but a paladin has no hots and very poor instant heals. You have a whole 1.5 seconds to stun/fear/silence them. And don't even mention divine shield. Bandage up and start again.

Holy Paladin is getting very little but luck-based Instant heals and more dispel food in wotlk. We're now nothing but a pve spec. Stop beating on healers, there are 4 different kind sof healers, some of which are really, really not op.

pvp is no longer about who can kill the other the fastest. it's who can live the longest. healers obviously are better at this.

the gear you wear is designed to keep you alive longer. I can kill things very quickly in my T6, but in pvp I'm killed in seconds.

no healers are impossible to kill otherwise teams with a healer in them would never loose.

been there both sides.
i always like to have some rogue/warrior beating on me while my friends take down their friends. arena mostly. that's with a pretty crappy resto-shaman. only prob i have there is with overgeared people with a lot of armor pen oder a realy lucky crit/stun combo.

on the otherhand i tend to give up killing restodruids with my pally/mage. with the hunter it's okay when you have the talents in the right place and a lucky dispell (of not life bloom^^)

with my shaman i like to just purge those disc-priests so that one or two others can down him pretty fast. i think they're always kind of surprised how fast they fall with no buffs ;D

btw: hunters are total shaman killers

Exactly!!! Me playing a s3/s4 disc priest if you try and take my down with PW:S, renew, and mending on me good luck. Best way to take out a disc priest is well timed interrupts/silences/stuns. I cant tell you how many times people don't use their cooldowns wisely and that's the main reason you cannot kill a disc priest. Druids are a different story entirely.

Stuff like this makes me love being a full s4 (s3 shoulders still -.-) disc priest in a battleground. Mostly because I'm not attacking anyone in bgs. I'm just running around, defending bases, carrying flags once in awhile and generally avoiding combat. Then bad warriors and rogues in their welfare s2 think they should be able to walk up to me and crush me. Why? Because they think that Priests should be a free Honorable Kill.

So I apologize that its impossible for you to kill me 1v1. You probably can't kill me 4v1. But hey, if you try /dancing, then I will dance with you and we won't be fighting at all. I think most healers in 1v1 are more interested in /dancing and /hugging than fighting. Give it a try. Its about as productive as your dps. So stop crying that you can't kill another player who worked hard to become impossible to kill, give him a hug and walk away.

By the way, the ridiculous strategies in this thread would never work on me. If you aren't in full s3/s4, you're not killing me. I don't care what your strat is.

Actually I sometimes /dance when a premade is rolling the 6-7 people actually in AB with me. Sometimes someone joins in. Usually a rogue ganks me.

I play both a rogue and a Holy paladin, and on my rogue I gotta say that Disc Priests... Not a chance. If I ever attack him/her and he/she starts shielding and things, sprint away and vanish or something.. I dont want to waste my time on that :s. Same goes for druids, I stelath, stun em and bam their HP is flying up, dispelling my poisons and keep kiting me

Rogues on my Holy Paladin are funny though. They do like 0 damage to plate and keep proccing Redoubt .

If you play shadowstep, you should have no problem whittling down a resto druid in equivalent gear. If you play mutilate, well, you will have a slightly harder time. If you're quick with the entangling / cyclone interrupt and have all of your cooldowns up, HARP is still probably going to take down a resto druid the fastest.

Discipline priests are hard to take down for a rogue, especially if our GCD doesn't give us the opportunity to kick a flash heal.

Paladins are... interesting. If you can manage to stay behind them you should be alright, but you're going to have to probably go through two blinds (if you're spec'd for cooldown reduction). They're easier as mutilate as long as you can keep EA up and you have a decent amount of passive armour ignore.

well when im in bgs with my rogue the only class i have trouble killing would be pallis because the just bubble and llay on hands.
