With the knew pushback changes, will anyone even bother investing talent points in this any more?

Its not useless i think, because theres ofc a difference between 2secs pushback and 0secs .D
it is useless in pvp. Almost all enemies will get enough attacks in during 1.5 seconds to at least trigger pushback. So might aswell just get enough haste to lower your spells to their normal cast time.
It should get changed to how the shadow talent was, reduced push back duration by 70% then it would be useful.

Obviously not an amazing example, but it demonstrates a situation when Healing Focus will be usefull. Every little bit helps in PvP, especially against attackers using slow weapons.
It will lose some value against rogues, druids, hunters, but not enough to make it worthless.
Well....the alternative is an extra 2% holy spell crit....

For 2 points in the T1 tree of holy how is it not worth taking? Chances for pushback given the number of attacks is:Originally Posted by Neeklus

Taking this a bit further, is it better to have a chance to avoid all pushback or lessen the time lost from pushback? Given that most spells are subject to 2-4 attacks (depending on the circumstances) it would seem that adding a flat 0.3 seconds to every cast is a lot more desirable than a 51% to 75.99% chance to get 0.5 or 1 second added. Particulary involving spells that take longer to cast such as GHeal.
