Deathknights are the replacement for locks?

If you scroll down to the lore section it reads -

"The death knights of the Second War were powerful undead necromancers created by Gul'dan to replace the warlocks slaughtered by Orgrim Doomhammer."


It's all beginning to make perfect sense now. Warlocks are suck in PvP to fit in with the lore of deathknights. At least we all now know why warlock survivability in PvP is zero. :'(

I also enjoy QQing, and as of S3 and Armor Pen, I have been enjoying arenas on my lock less and less, but I cannot agree with you that lock has zero survivability.

I personally look forward to the warlock teleport among other things.





I will agree the class could use much more tuning, the change to armor pen, in combination with the change to pets/health funnel along with some of our new skills makes it so I am still mildly interested in the class.

Hell, I even beta a decent ish rogue on beta, WITHOUT having to double sac my void just to kill a lesser geared opponent....

DKs are the replacement for everything...tanks, dps, they are going to be healing after the first patch in WotLK too. 25 man DK raids, all armor that isn't plate will be deleted. You will be assimilated.

yeh locks have no survivability what with fear, deathcoil, teleport, SL, drains, instant fear, shadowfury, metamorph, hs, cox...
we also suck at pvp, i mean i actually lost some matches getting to 2.2k gawd!
