    Re: WotLK Mutilate PvP Build.

I have a spec but I don't know where to put the subtlety points in. :-\ Anyways here are few examples:

(http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eco...GzZ0xZgbrbhhzd) This spec makes my stealth a little worse, but I have better openers, and I have Hemorphage for the damage increase debuff, which I don't know if it is actually worth it, or if I should give it up for other talents, also it is useful for generating combo points because it is a cheap energy attack that gives me my 5th combo point without having to save up 60 energy for another mutilate, which will help me get 5 point finishers off faster.

(http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eco...GzZ0xZebfbh0db) This spec gives me better stealth, and heightened senses, but gives up Hemo and Initiative.

(http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eco...GzZ0xZgbrbbhdb) Same as above, except that I gave up some stealth and 1 point from serrated blades for Initiative, also has a lack of Hemo.

Tell me what you think is the best spec and why. Also just in case this matters, I will be rolling rogue/mage for 2v2 and rogue/mage/priest for 3v3 unless those team makeups have become obselite in WotLK.

    Re: WotLK Mutilate PvP Build.

Initiative is a sucky 3-point talent for any muti build, imo. Basically, you're spending 3 talent points just to get an extra combo point at the start of combat, which will be completely wasted most of the time due to Seal Fate and Cold Blood. As someone else stated before me, muti builds don't have any problems generating CPs, but they really need energy efficiency....

Which brings me on to my own dilemma. I was originally going with the following PvP build:
    http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?rogu...h=180807010502
But I've decided (based on the amount of times I'm critting) that FA is a must-have talent. So what shall I sacrifice? I'm thinking of losing 2 points in Improved Eviscerate, and one point in Find Weakness.

PVP build (lvl 80): http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=fhx...czZ0xZebfbh0db ---> also you can quit 2 points in imp. kidney shot and add 2 points in blood spatter (not recomendable), with wound poison MH, mind-numbling poison OH (you must use 2 slow daggers for more max dmg = more burst dmg)
I'm playing Mutilate since almost 2,5 years, that's why I surely can state of mine, that I've made a LOT of experience with Mutilate in PvE (casually, but if, then BT) and PvP (Realmpool 1st s4 shoulders with Mutilate, best PvP rogue of alliance, 3rd on server)
Your 80 PvP build just sucks. Neither FA nor Ruthlessness is specced - absolute fail. But instead of those very necessary talents, you specced Imp. KS, which just can be resisted, parried and dodged (ok, parried and dodged should never occur but still possible in times of latency ). Moreover, Eviscerate will just be used on enemies below 20% health to put an end of the match, but 21% more damage with just one ability isn't worth 3 points.
    In my eyes,
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eco...GzZ0xZebfbh0db
is much more useful. In spite of the upcoming HfB buff (it's just confirmed, that there WILL be a change, but not known in which way), this could be an alternative: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0ecReMoiroIuho0xZxdbbh
The point in SoH can ofc be also put in MoD or Camouflage, but 1/3 MoD isn't really useful, Camouflage doens't stack (ok, 2 sec lowered stealth cd......)
Now about the poisons....it's just the other way round you should use the poisons:
Mind-numbing on MH, Wound Poison on OH. Mind-numbing will procc much more often, feding up Pallys and Priests. With 2/2 Deadly Brew it also will slow the enemy, exactly as Shiv does with Wound Poison. Moreover, Shiv can be used as an MS (!) and the Shiv damage is raised a little through the dmg of Wound Poison.
    Slow daggers are ofc recommended.

only non retarded person in the thread. I've got basically the same build as you but I decided on imp evis instead of ruthlessness because I was just going for big numbers after 3.0 and no mob really lives past CS-muti evis muti evis, let alone people

the build your using is going to be cookie cutter muti,

oh and I am leveling my druid not my rogue so she is still 70
    http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...calp&n=Gotchie

I had my 4 piece 3 weeks into s4 and basically quit playing my rogue since my disc priest partner quit and all the good ones were taken

Point is that the armor reduction scales with your levels. Forgot how much it is at 80, but nay worries it will be more than 8

    Me thinx it's 8 per level - i.e. 640 at level 80.
