Swift flight form

does anyone know exactly whats going to happen with this skill in wotlk? will the price of epic flying skill go down, or will the quest line for this form be removed..

pretty much if anyone has general info on it i would appreciate it

savin up for the skill, but since wotlk is only like a week away and it would be easier or cheaper to do it then i guess i would wait

as far as i know the quest line will be removed, it will become a trainable skill at any druid trainer

BUT

you will still need the epic flying skill!

so in waiting you get it easier, but miss the money of the questline...

The Questline will still be in the game but you can learn it from trainer in lvl 71 if you have 300riding skillz.

Its not that hard to get 5k just do dailies for a couple weeks, instead if they turn it into a thing just anyone can get in a weekend I'm be sick.

It depends on the situation here, some people are raiding pretty hardcore and dont have time over for farming money, just speeding trough the dailys in QD and then joining the raid. And for the raid u need pots/flasks foodbuffs and u name it.

They probably wont, but you can take solice in the fact that you'll make a lot more money in Northrend, and that 5000g problably isnt that hard to get at level 80

Anyway the questline is super fun and gives you some good lore imho but yea I guess if you can train it do that.

I'm lvl 70 ... downed illidan, went to sunwell ... I have full set of gear for resto\feral tank\feral dps\boomkin\PvP Resto ... Mostly all SW badges and some T6 \ Za \Epic crafted recipe .... All this gear is enchanted\Patched ... I Have about 300 Golds of respect per day cuz they always need tank\healer\Ranged Dps for something ... How the hell you excpect me to get 5k Gold ... i'm a REAL druid ... I Play all spec ... I Don't go Ezmode and stay a healbot forever ... All druid should be versatile .. that's our main strength... this is what DRUIDS ARE MADE FOR ...

The hardcore raiders you describe here do not need an epic flying mount. Everything is accessible by normal flying mount.

Well then your obviously over doing it. I am a pally and have 3 sets of gear all epic prot/retri/holy. At no point did I ever respec more than twice. 300 gold? are you crazy? how many instances do you run to keep changing?

Actually wait one min. even before the patch I used to solo heal heroics as holy in my tier4/5 gear when I went with guildies. Yes it wasnt all heroics but it was a lot of them.

Only point in respeccing is for raids or pvp, for grinding its pointless these days, as it was before once a certain lvl of gear was reached.

5kg is nothing its two weeks doing dailys. Yes its true hybrids like pallys and druids, if they play properly and get all sets of gears are far more expensive than lets say a rogue but what you are talking about is just foolish.

I'm exageration a little ... usually its 2-3 respect a day .. but last 2 week i had like ... 150-250 g per day of respect (Trying new stuff i guess) ... this is for fun ... we play game for fun ... doing the same thing over and over again isnt fun ... I will probably get my mount while questing in wotlk ...

Let me just put it this way:

If you can't get 5k gold, then you just cba with farming. I have done it once; not sure I will do it again. The epic flying is only a luxury, it has no effect anywhere besides from running and keeping arcane missiles on your tail for all eternity =)

I can also say that about respecs. It is fun to fly, fun to try new things out. A luxury; you pay for it! Just figure out with yourself what you would rather do =)

first...if you ever only had your 60 PS mount for about 6 month and then you fly 10 fucking seconds with a 280 PS mount - it's no nice-to-have anymore. from then, it's a need-to-have. with any further char you level up to 70.

second (to the guy who respecs 6 times a day): if you have 300 per day only for respecs and you have the time and amount of pots to build up an equipment for every situation... you have enough money to buy your 280PS driver license.

IF NOT: just do everything you do every day to manage the cost of all the respecs you do every day - except the respecs itself. with 350 (including repair bills for every equipment) gold per day, you have your epic mount within two weeks.
considering Lich King arrives in 9 days you make a shitload more money at the first 6 days in wotlk than you did on the last 9 days in BC, so this should make it even faster.

I prefer specting and using the Flight Master than wasting 5k gold on something not really useful ...
If i wanna fly at 280% i ll just log on my friend's priest and fly arround for 10 sec for fun

And i cant play if its not fun ... if im stuck tanking for a month i will just NOT PLAY AT ALL ... sad but true

Quest stays for my feeling, cause you'll miss out on a lot of fun during the quest and the boss in Setthek Halls.. where will he go then? On a long Holiday?
The option for you is more, will you do the quest or buy the form at your local trainer.

I dunno if they remove the quest itself - but it isn't needed to finish it. you can just buy your rinding skill, go to a class trainer and by the swift flight form.

like it happened to warlocks and paladins.
